GTA 4 doesn't seems to recognize my graphics card.

Hi guys. I have a Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1050ti Windforce OC G1. Every game is running fine except GTA 4. Actually I think it is detecting my available video memory (sometimes) but it does not uses it. I have update patch 1.0.7.0 installed. According to Rockstar, they have launched an update 1.0.8.0 which fixes this problem

So the only way left right now is using patch 1.0.7.0. so is there way to get rid of this problem without installing patch 1.0.8.0?

I dont know for a fact but it could be your graphics card with 4gb memory exceeds what gta4 is expecting to see, looking at your screen shot it shows 202 of 3066mb i dont think the game knows your card.

 

I have no idea if there is an update to get round this, maybe someone else will know

Actually there is a update 1.0.8.0. But i can't install it. Problem in installing is mentioned above

I'm having the same problem. I just downgraded to 1.0.7.0 from 1.0.8.0 and it used to work fine. Now i open the gane and it shows me this.

The graphics settings page shows me 202/120 mb, even though i have 4 gb radeon r7 m445. The commands i use in commandline.txt are

-nomemrestrict

-norestrictions

-availablevidmem 5.0

Any fixes?
