RaMMy
Welcome to 2k17, the beginning of the end for gaming. On a serious note, this is a trend now, every single player game will have the option for microtransactions in it, because, 60$ isn't enough, they need more so future game's can happen (bahaha, tried not to laugh on that one, it's impossible). It all started with TF2, then CSGO and DOTA, the plague was then moved to Overwatch and they said, ''you know what? people are dumb, let's put those cosmetics into single player game's''. Voila, there you have it UltraZ
dyspoid
This is a really terrible trend that we all inasvertantly support by buying these games and partaking in microtransactions. This is not alright. Games have moved away from being these tight, cohesive experiences, which we purchase - to being a platform for milking the consumer. Worse yet, is the fact that the system is not fair, and that microtransactions are rarely micro at all. GTA V does not have a single purchase that could be considered micro. Instead, we have the option to pay for in-game currency that is intended to be purchased with relative frequency - an artificially created economy supported by ulimited supply and inflated demand fostered by automatic obsoletion. I wouldn't have any concerns if the cheapest shark card available provided enough resources to purchase many items, or at least a worthwhile exchange. But it simply does not. It is the equivalent of purchasing a meal for $10 and then having to pay $5 for each bite. plsdeletemyprofileN0r0k, UltraZ, LincolnClay and 2 others

itsallup
As long as there's people willing to pay for this, you can expect them to insert microtransactions. It's much like they did with cars some time ago... They used to be built to last forever. Now they're built to break, so you have to buy parts and fix it every now and then. Not much longer from now there'll be updates for these car interactive media centers and I doubt they wont sell these updates. Just like the iPhone, where you have to buy every single app that you install... You already pay a fortune for the cellphone, thinking it's full of resources, and interactive programs. And when you start it up, you disappoint yourself knowing you have to buy them all.
DOUGL4S1
This was a rather obvious thing. Our beloved Strauss Zuckadick will squeeze every penny out of its fanbase as possible, something that already got EA to be known as the worst company of all time. Remember when gaming companies were controlled by gamers for gamers, and not by suits for players' money?
Piggsy pls
I'm thinking for the next GTA, they may implement shark cards in both SP and Online. Pink Pineapple, Shaundi. and Eugene H. Krabs

TheHolyNZF
Assuming it will have integrated Online mode instead of SP DLC's. It's very possible "GTA 6" and "GTA Online 2" will be separate games. Spøkelse
MARKUS.
Sadly I see an implementation a GTA Online $ phylosophy on SP... - You need 100.000$ to prepare this heist (like what happened in GTA Online Heists but as a SP mission) - Things are so f*** expensive in GTA SP world and the payment ridiculous. Seems legit
asadog2
Yes I need shark cards so I can have all my garages filled full of dubstas like I have now As long as there's people willing to pay for this, you can expect them to insert microtransactions. AnimalFather
i highly doubt they will add any microtransactions into the SP if they do they are stupid. i believe SP will be intact. MP on the other hand will have lots of it. both will be on the same disc.
