How to be a better pilot?

I hope it´s ok for ghillie if i post his vid here. You see, how good the new planes are. Mostly the Pyro and Starling. Those Hydras had no chance. The Pyro and Starling are just way to agile.

I've been wondering about this, and it's hard to tell from experience as I'm not good at aiming plane guns in general, but do you have to lead your target(shoot where they'll be, not where they are) like you would in a real life dogfight or do the bullets just instantly hit so you don't have to lead?

^ You hardly need to lead at all, at gun range, but I go with the "aim small, miss small" philosophy and aim to shoot the pilot. There's enough plane following him that this counts as leading.

Same.

There is a big difference if we're talking about leading a plane with the sniper at distance. When a plane is about a mile away you need to lead by a plane length. In dogfight distances it's not very noticeable.

Flight school, flight school, flight school. Get gold in that last challenge with the besra and youll notice the change.

As others have said; practice makes perfect. Also flight school is a good idea to start off, it'll also give you some cash and RP on the side (someone correct me if I'm wrong here as it was a while ago I went to that class).

I'm not a very skilled jet pilot, I rarely use them.. but these days most of my sessions consists of flying the Buzzard - I often notice how in some sessions I haven't even used a PV car at all.

I guess it's different though since a helicopter can be (and most likely will be, at least in my case) used mostly as a way of transportation with the added benefit of being armed for defensive purposes and Headhunter among other things.

It would of course be more difficult to use the Pyro as extensively and with as broad a purpose, to effectively practice flying it you'd need an enemy combatant in the air.

I don't mind. I want people to know that these planes aren't trash

This should have been one of the flight school missions:

US Navy officials have said it was "absolutely unacceptable" that one of their pilots used a jet's contrail to draw a penis in the sky.

I was tempted to get the Pyro myself. However, I recently found some interesting exploits while using the Hydra (btw I didn't care to see if anyone else posted this). Exploits below:

#1: Hydra can fly MUCH faster than a normal Hydra with this trick. First, go into hover mode (remember most flying vehicles fly faster or slower depending on altitude). Fly up as far up as you can before starting. All you need to do is pull back on left analog stick and press in the brakes. Next, press forward on left analog and press on the acceleration. Repeat this over and over and you should notice you're outrunning EVERYONE who isn't using this glitch.

#2:Super sharp turns, up, and down dives. Not sure if this works in other aircraft but feel to try. Simply pull up or down on both sticks. It's hard to see but in a Hydra you will turn extremely sharp compared to normal turns. You can make your turn or dive even sharper by tapping both sticks in same direction. Be careful dives though. It'll easily plant you face first into the dirt. Credit goes to somebody else. I forget who.
