Mr. Scratch
Usually I manage to get it right with Nike and Vans but no dice with Adidas or Asics.
ṼirulenⱦEqừinox
Nike & Adidas are the only shoes I can wear without causing extra pain to my feet because I have nerve damage and other issues so I need shows with padding or air soles as they call them so those are my two brands. Although I did buy a pair of Sketchers a while back and they were comfy but I prefer Adidas
Mr. Scratch
I feel you, I walk roughly 14 miles every day so my knees are pretty f*cked, especially if I'm wearing flat soled shoes with zero padding like Vans. Honestly though, a pair of boots from Bates or Haix are absolutely worth the price over any sneakers I could imagine buying. Mine stems from my work injury where I had to have my ankles fused together because the bones in both ankles were shattered and caused nerve damage. I've tried boots but they just don't feel good to me before I like low top shoes like these I want these shoes but I couldn't find them in the Adidas store nearby and they said they could order it but it'd be no difference than me ordering it because if it doesn't fit I'd have to return it anyways These Adidas are the ones I wore for the longest time everytime I needed a new pair, I'd just go buy these but for some reason all the stores stopped selling these specific shoes. I hate when a store stop selling something you depending on them to sell but I wouldn't be able to wear them anymore anyways because of the flat bottoms like you But with black trim instead of Red Edited April 18, 2018 by Ai®aCob®a
Mr. Scratch
Sounds like you need a pair of Gel Lytes.
ṼirulenⱦEqừinox
Sounds like you need a pair of Gel Lytes. Are those shoes or gel inserts? I've tried using gel inserts before without much success really Edit: I found what you were talking about but sadly they don't carry my size, Size 13 and even if they did $115 is too much for shoes especally from a brand I've never used before Thanks for the mention tho Edited April 18, 2018 by Ai®aCob®a
Guest
There's a few versions of the Gel Lyte's around, Gel Lyte V's tend to be around £40-50 which is something like $60/70 USD which imo is worth the investment. I've heard Adidas Ultra Boost's are meant to be incredibly comfy but they seem to be £100 and up. I'd probably look for running shoes containing the Adidas Boost or Nike Lunarlon soles. Mr. Scratch
Asics are probably the most comfortable sneakers you can get, I've had a pair of Ultra Boosts and they're a bit too soft for my liking, that and they don't hold up too well.
Devyl
Where else am I going to make bulk purchases of socks?
trip
Where else am I going to make bulk purchases of socks?I get mine at BJ's Wholesale Club. Yup. Bulk f*cking everything. It scares me with how much you can shop online or via mobile app(same thing ya know). Where I live you no longer need to leave your house. EVER! Get all your daily groceries delivered fresh daily, get your beer, wine, whatever delivered. Here if you smoked a bunch of weed and want cookies delivered at 4am...we got that. It really does scare me. It's bad enough we can bubble ourselves with like minded people for news and conversation...I think society needs some forced interactions to keep us honest. Devyl
Amen, brother. Even though I can have almost everything brought to my doorstep, I prefer going to stores to support my local businesses and have social interactions with people. My girlfriend, on the other hand, orders literally EVERYTHING online. Hell, we pay $100/year for Amazon prime just to get everything she orders next-day (we have a major distribution center an hour away). It really does worry me about how the future generations are going to view social interaction.
Rykjeklut
^ I support the idea of supporting your local businesses, but in my current sh*thole there aren't any. So... Everything but food and alcohol. If I could buy those online I definitely would. Edited April 21, 2018 by Rykjeklut
