Cheat Money Beggars.

You have perhaps at least once encountered players that aren't using cheat menus, but are begging for "money drops" from "hackers". Sometimes, they mistake your high rank for cheated one and starts to beg you for money. Sometimes they even threat to report you if you don't comply.

 

Sometimes i ask myself why they won't start laughing in Brazilian.

 

Seriously though, i have been kicked because of this already. Some rather penetrant lowrank started stalking me because of Rank 465 of mine, repeatedly asking for money. Some jumped the bandwagon and started to ask me as well, then one had the brightest idea to thanking me for supposed drop, dousing some more gasoline into the fire. Then i was insulted, reported and kicked from the lobby.

 

In the winter imade a joke of it though and indeed gave someone money.

11660 bucks to be precise. Can't say i didn't held my promise. Also made a beggar work for his money.

Well since R* took my legit money before smugglers run they dont bother me anymore.

However when they beg ME (because I'm a level 431) to give them money, I still tell them to f*ck off.

Yep because reporting innocent players who are simply asking for money will help anything. The only people to report are those using exploits, those abusing game "mechanics" or mod menu users. Be funny if I saw you ingame and reported you for cheating with your ewo script.

 

Rockstar being incompetent and letting mod menus users take over pc is the issue not people asking for money. If rockstar actually cared about thered*mn game, mod menus wouldn't be possible in the first place. But noooo like all there multiplayer games, they always end up filled with them. GTA IV Multiplayer, Red Dead Redemption Multiplayer, gta online.

 

Lets force all players to play the new updates in public only and wonder why they glitch into a public "solo" session by themselves do to the mod menu users. Hard to believe people defend rockstar when rockstar is the reason mod menus are useable in there multiplayer games. Yep be mad at the players that have nothing stopping them from using them in rockstar's games. Oh don't cheat but use report button. Brilliant, have to be ingame only to report them. At least runescape has there own official site where you can report bots or people cheating. Sad that I have to compare the game to runescape. If the game was less grindy, less people would ask for money as well.

Why cant people just ignore it. Why does it trigger you that someone is asking for modded money? It is their business to want to get banned and you arent involved. Banning someone for begging isnt against TOS.

 

You all could learn a lot by ignoring it and just play the game.

The only thing I took away from this is that people think level 372 is a high level (if that's you - if not what's your rank?). If I were looking for a modder and beg, I'd do it on a forum in a dedicated thread and not in-game where it's easier to get trolled. Reaching into an established community and asking someone directly who states he'll help out puts a type of pressure to deliver. OP delivers, that kind of stuff. In-game you're typing/chatting with some dude who's most likely drinking Mountain Dew with a buddy and both giggling at your gullibility. People who beg deserve to be taught a lesson. A temp-ban from the game is too harsh but maybe...just maybe...one of their cars randomly gets uninsured. It's a small gesture that will have a snowball effect:

A kid begs for money. One of his cars gets uninsured. A different car gets uninsured by each new session he begs in. If unlucky one of those cars blows up, loses it and then blames the game for being buggy. He'll resort to more begging until he's left with empty garages. When his begging results only in him losing insurance on his cars and no modder helps out he'll ditch the game, put his mind to making legit money or most likely buy a cash card. Either way legit or non-begger players win as we're getting rid of beggers.

It's genius.

Yep had one not long back got so desperate they started telling me jokes. I told them I could (I can't) but that I'd need their account details. My plan was not to actually use them, but to wait a few minutes then tell them that a ban was on their way, make them think twice about begging for money. Anyway, they didn't play along and I never heard from them again.

Because people are obsessed with modded money. I'm seeing more beggars than actual cheaters.

 

They don't play the game anymore, they don't do missions, they don't do races. All they do is asking for freaking money 24/7. I saw a player, something like level 4, he was a true beginner - didn't know about heists, VIP work or anything. But guess what - he knew about modders and he was begging right from the start. Could you imagine yourself finishing the GTA:O tutorial and asking for money in a public chat, right away?

 

People want to hire you because they think you are a cheater

People want to become your associate because they think you are a cheater

People play the game just to beg for money. They don't care for the experience anymore.

Few minutes later I'm seeing a classic message, something like "Can I have some money?"

 

At this point I realize - the guy just doesn't care. Not about cars, not about having fun in the game, not about having a non-pvp connection with another player. He was just expecting to have some free money.

 

Other examples:

- Hi. Any modders?

- No

<Player left>

 

- Hi. Can you drop money?

- Not a cheater, work for it.

- Sure.

- Sure.

- I have a life / I'm too lazy / <Insert your excuse>. Any modders? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE?

 

Of course, the only action is to ignore them. I mean, what else can you do? I even stopped arguing with them. But it's just sad that the longer you stay in a world of GTA:O the less like-minded players you see.

 

If I were looking for a modder and beg, I'd do it on a forum in a dedicated thread and not in-game where it's easier to get trolled.

 

They are too lazy even to play the game. Doing some research is an impossible task for them.
