Vehicles bought not being delivered (current bug)

Guys I just thought I'd throw this warning out for anyone considering making a big purchase. I noticed this the other day with a Nokoka not being delivered. I thought ok.. total fluke/bad luck. But today my son went to buy a Ruiner 2000 and it wasn't delivered and I've read far too many people on the forums also having things not delivered this week (I'm assuming since the taxi/mugger delivery glitch was hotfixed.) That's all I know but yeah, it needs to be put out there just as a warning. I doubt Rockstar will acknowledge the problem and I doubt they will fix it anytime soon (since it's a bug in their favour), but just pay attention, record the video and put a ticket in if something doesn't arrive.

luckily I have a decent amount of money that 2 million isn't a huge loss but not everyone is as fortunate.

I had a Seabreeze undelivered, had to Tweet R* support after an auto closed ticket, then submit another ticket. But I did get my 850k back within a few hours.

rockstar logic is making that if you "pause" the game or open the phone while you sit in your car in the moc storage, it kicks you out of the car. yah, that makes all the sense.

Happened to me yesterday. Waited 20 minutes before buying another one. Not a loss but still this should be addressed. Guess I wont be buying anything for a minute.

Yeah I had intended to buy a Nokota on every character but having bought about 5 things since last week and having lost 2 out of 5.. I've gone decidedly spending shy. I wont buy anything else until I see no more reports of this happening. the 5 mil plus on my sons account which doesn't have huge amounts of cash hurt. But as the money he does have being made in the MOC I don't think I need Rockstar support in there :0 so for me, I'll just wait it out. Mostly I just posted this up because there are plenty of people around that have 5 million.. spend 5 million and for those guys an undelivered vehicle and the subsequent fight to prove it with support would be heart attack inducing ! . PS, this glitch is probably only effecting systems which had the taxi/mugger glitch patched.

rockstar logic is making that if you "pause" the game or open the phone while you sit in your car in the moc storage, it kicks you out of the car. yah, that makes all the sense.That wasn't always the case iirc, at least not on console but that is R* logic at it's finest

There's so many things that changes because R* hot patches a glitch but are to lazy to fix them properly later on and one can argue who are to blame, glitchers or lazy developers

What kind of vehicles did people try to buy that wasn't delivered?

I bought several regular cars, not with weapons and all delivered as they should. Probably has nothing to say but could be interesting to see

Just technical details to try and get to the root of the problem: I bought a Nokota for 2M from my CEO office, started out on a crate collect mission, and when I went to the hangar the vehicle wasn't there, but the vehicle I replaced from storage (a Swift Deluxe) had been removed, leaving a spare slot. After making the initial purchase there was no visible red minus cash debit on screen, and no notification that the vehicle would be delivered either..

 

Can anyone find anything useful in this? I bought the Nokota for a second time and this time the transaction debited red cash and I got the 'delivered' notification immediately.

 

BTW, I'm on XB1 and have a good relationship with taxi drivers.

With the Ruiner 2000 which didn't show up I got the notification that fully loaded was unlocked as soon as I purchased it but then nothing arrived and fully loaded wasn't actually unlocked.. I think I'll do some more testing but I'll buy cheap ass cars this time !. It's definitely got something to do with the rushed fixed on the taxi glitch because that's the code which is involved in both cases.

The taxi driver glitch was so serious that Rockstar had to patch it as quickly and clumsily as possible, which means there could be tens of thousands or people who haven't received vehicles.

 

If you were involved in recent glitches then there's nothing to complain about. Soak it up and accept the loss, but if you're a legit player who genuinely doesn't receive vehicles, this seriously sucks and Rockstar need to do something about it.

 

It would be interesting to know if anyone has been affected by this bug who had nothing to do with recent glitches?

It doesn't discriminate against glitchers lol, Although glitchers are more likely to be buying stuff. There's lots of guys here on the forum that have had things not delivered this week and it's all over rockstar support. If it's a one in 5 bug or even one in 20.. it's very serious and would have affected tens of thousands of people already.

I know that it doesn't necessarily affect everyone that was involved in recent glitching so I would think that it goes both ways

I'm 100% dupe and glitch free, and still had a Seabreeze undelivered.

 

If I'd been filling garages with free Vigilantes I definately wouldn't have submitted 2 tickets and tweeted R* support over 850k. Wouldn't have wanted R* looking at my account at all.

What do you mean by recent? The last glitch I did was the last DM glitch which was a few weeks ago or longer? I havent done any since then. I think its just another bug that popped up.

I also think that if it only affected people doing glitches we would have seen a lot of I was banned or R* took all of my money posts

Not buying expensive vehicles is sound advice for sure. However..because Rockstars policy is to never admit to bugs that cost players gta$. It's going to be very difficult to tell exactly when this has been hotfixed. If it was a money glitch you could predict maybe around next Wednesday but it isn't and in the past theyve taken months to fix this kind of thing. Luckily the Taxi glitch is said to be still working either randomly or has turned into a timing glitch, so if that gets figured out and posted maybe then they will fix the code. Otherwise we can only hope they fix it before the Hunter drops.

I have never made any dupe glitch and I bought several smugglers plans without any problems.

I always buy the vehicles in private lobbys and out of the office just in case.

might be worth nothing the system. In the last 2 weeks I bought about 10 vehicles. Ranging from inexpensive Faggio to the Nokota. Got all of them delivered just fine on PC.

I lost a P-45 Nokota as well(I replaced a Destroyed Hydra that I Had in storage with It). This is my First Time having this happen. I'm now actually nervous about making any future purchases, including when the Hunter comes out. That's alot of Money to lose.
