I agree this car should have been more it should have been a contender on fast tracks, The handling should be better but not top tier as cars tech has progressed concerning grip, tyres active aero etc. But it should have one of the fastest top speeds in the game it is a 240+ mph car in real life. The only in game cars that should go faster in a straight line are the Adder/Veyron, Nero/Chiron and the Entity/Koennasegggg but the F1 would in real life handle tracks better than the Buggattis at least. It is Rockstar Logic like making a 211 mph hybrid VW Beatle the fastest car in a straight line? But rubbish in corners? I think they have this the wrong way round. Design wise, R* is a couple of turn signals away from a lawsuit from McLaren. Unfortunately, the GP1's performance doesn't live up to the legend that is the F1, especially in the top speed department. It sometimes can't even keep up with the Tyrus & the Tyrus is based on the "slower" McLaren F1. I thought my post would have given it away, to be honest. I'm not a super car guy in general, either. Then again, just because I'm a fan of a certain car manufacturer doesn't mean I'm going to like the look of all of their cars, but yeah, I'm not a fan of McLaren anyway. I don't know why everyone is so concerned with my criticism of the GP1. Some cars people won't mind being criticised, but others people will take very seriously. People have different tastes in cars, just like people have different tastes in music. Rock fans usually won't be fans of hip hop music, though a rock/metal/pop fan myself, I like some hip hop music. It should feel super light and have the best top speed. I won a round the map race in a n 811 the other night, the Gp1 should be the pick for that situation. It should have the single front seat too. It should be like what it is. Very fast but not competitive with a modern supercar on the track anymore due to lack of downforce and computer aides.
