Inviting people to custom jobs

Hi, so I've been having issues inviting peoples to custom jobs ( not Rockstar jobs ).

Each time, I've tried to turn off my console/reboot it, changing characters or lobbies but nothing, I can only invite my friends or my crew, not peoples from public lobbies.

Does anyone have the same issue or have a fix to this ?

Since I'm a content creator, it's a real pain in the ass.

If you leave matchmaking "Open" and Auto-Invite on, then it'll eventually send the job invite out to random people in random lobbies.

If you need to extend the time available for inviting players, turn matchmaking "Closed" and then open it again. Also, it can sometimes help to turn off auto-invite for about 10 seconds and then turn it on again.

 

Finally, if the lobby you're in has other players in it, then selecting "All from current session" will send an invite to all of them (probably obvious).

The problem is that it doesn't invite anyone from public lobbies, I'm a veteran player, so I know how to do it.

So I assume you're starting off in a populated public lobby, right? How do you know invites aren't being sent out to places?

 

I'll have to tell you with honesty - I've been invited to literally hundreds of player-made custom jobs, and out of all them, I've probably played 10. Like you, after having played from day one and experienced 'the different qualities of creations' shall we say, I'm often left feeling that my time had been wasted. There are good ones out there, but it's almost akin to 'finding a needle in a haystack'. Of course, if there's no description for the job, or a very brief one, it won't be considered - but that's just my book.

I need to pick them all one by one, auto invite, players in session, from last job, friends, etc... But I just guess it's a glitch, if not, the "invited" players would have the "rejected" mark.

But it's not inviting anyone from public lobbies so that's not my case.

I'm also sorry if my statement seems wrong or anything.
