So much cheating going on on PS4 at the minute (Videos)

These 2 chaps, matrecada and his friend keith_de_larr were somehow able to hide in buildings and other parts of the map, teleport and shoot through buildings and walls!

 

Now keep an eye on where keith_de_larr is on the map. Then look to see where i am. I'm clearly on the roof of a building encased by the safety of thick walls. Yet he somehow shoots me through the walls!

 

 

 

 

Now keep an eye on the yellow chap named SaTaRiEl_kiLlEr on the mini map. Again, i'm clearly on a roof behind a big wall. Yet he somehow shoots me through it!

 

Now keep an eye on the red gang on the mini map. A user named ScotchXV. Again, look where i am. I'm clearly standing right behind the safety of a building and other debris. I'm not standing close to the edges, i'm dead centre and they are directly opposite. They shoot me through the walls aswell!

 

 

This is just some of the cheating i've captured in the last week. There has been a lot more. It's gotten quite out of hand. The people that can shoot through walls and buildings all seem to be wearing one of those stupid looking helmets with infared sights on.

I'd much prefer they were banned. Especially when i'm getting pop up messages saying Rockstar are tracking me as a potential cheater and i don't even cheat. Yet the cheaters freely run rampant.

Well the good thing is you have video proof and their user names. You could sent that to Rockstar Support

Banned? Oh I hope not. "The punishment should fit the crime" and there's worse things going on... like people glitching into Godmode, being off the radar indefinitely, or yanno' the same-old, same-old with users car-duping their way into the billions for no real need.

Don't get me started with PC.

 

To say their character needs a complete wipe so they have to start from scratch is perhaps a little much. A warning message isn't good enough either (what were Rockstar games thinking with that?) so something in-between might serve best - oh like a few days in bad sport or whatever.

 

Well the good thing is you have video proof and their user names. You could sent that to Rockstar Support

 

I'd put a $1000 bet on them not looking at the evidence, ever, and being told to use the in-game system. A couple of years ago or more I'd have whistled a different tune, when their manpower was seemingly more hands on.

@ Gaffa... Yeah, they won't do nought... IMO, a shame it's gotten to the point that R* do turn a blind eye really. As there's just no real deterrents, this'll continue, and probably worsen...

 

Equally, what I've seen/read of PC, gotta commend some players love of GTA there, that would drive me crazy... Old gen was horrendous, but we could hide in solo/friend sessions away from it, but not hampered by 'no acces unless public'...

 

The only shining light IF these mods/scripts/cheats on PC come to consoles is that it could force R* to allow businesses away from public, as it could (IMO,I really don't know the technicals) simply be the easiest 'fix'... Going by the way players say they bandaid stuff (Again, my technical knowledge is limited, but read some more informed players complain more often than not on things, of which elude me)

 

Agree a full wipe would be harsh IMO too, but at the same time, a few examples made by R* that certain pap isn't accepted, the deterrent sets the bar. Like diving in football (soccer)... end a few off for a few matches, these pansies soon start to stay up.

Then act on it. You have videographic evidence and usernames. Use it. Report them.

We don't need topics just to tattle tale on other players. Just report them to the appropriate places and move on.
