At least in Rhino Hunt I'm not forced to watch someone else play, and not be able to play myself.

 

If I wanted to do that I'd watch a YouTube video. I play games to actually DO something. Not to watch other people suck at it.

^^^i can relate. It's tiresome to watch junky pilots but of you get a good match-up you can learn the other player's tendencies in real time.

 

Not that I've even been challenged in the couple hours I've joined randoms... but I've seen some players get better, round by round. I give it a resounding thumbs up. You want more balance in gtao: teach everybody to fly.

Machine guns is the best option by far, rocket kills become kinda rare vs really good pilots, since they can evade most of the times.

Well atleast I can play in rhino hunt and wont have to watch 8 scrubs try to fly a plane while scrub number 9 (my "enemy") dumps his plane into the ocean 2 sec after the round started.

Both Rhino hunt and Dogsh*te are the worst adversery modes along with Overtime shootout.

Played it. Absolutely terrible. Defeats the object of an actual dogfight when all everyone does is spam rockets.

 

Here's me thinking it would be just cannons.

the level of bug is too damn high.

i only wanted to try it out today.

 

first PvP, one killed the other, screen freezes.

but the game is still running, but nothing to see.

so 2nd round no one wins, 3rd round no one wins.

4th round startet again, but i was on foot, w/o jet?!

 

and so on, it mostly freezes after the first round.

 

the best: my team had won the match. but...

on the last round it freezes again and kicked all player,

because of too much inactivity. HA HA HA. wtf

I feel like this is another missed opportunity.

 

1. Should of made the vehicles locked to the new vehicle of the week which was the Nokota. Seemed very appropriately themed for this vehicles debut.

 

2. NO MISSILES. WW2 Style Dogfights. machine guns to the death or crash into each other in the air because we all know how this would go down. Hilarity ensues.

 

3. Let everyone fight all at the same time. 1 Life to live per round, live it well.

All these AFK methods and dollar per hour ways just don't appeal to me.

 

I get it though, with the sheer amount of stuff, new players can easily get lost, so a good guid is ideal of course. And bullsh*t like the bunkers research asks for people to go AFK too...

 

And now this, an adv. mode made for these guys.

 

Uugh. Are we wrong to want to play?... Being sarcastic of course, but a bit cynical too...

I usually just fly around when someone is lagging/using a lag switch and let the clock tick.

 

You can dodge my missiles and cannon with your poxy switch, but you can't dodge the clock, punk!

The first time I played this I was so confused about what is actually going on.

 

The mode launched and on my screen actually two guys were already flying, and I thought I somehow had joined another active round.

Until I realized that it's actually a round based 1vs1 scenario. That wasn't really what I was expecting.

 

I thought it would be more like an actual Team Deathmatch. But this is actually just a 1vs1 TDM which is disappointing to say the least.

 

It could have been so much better if it weren't for the fact that you spectate your team mates for the most time in a match, maybe an 8vs8 f.e. with maybe some twists to not have a basic Vehicle Deathmatch.

Did R* fix this AM? Maybe it was just my luck but I managed to play two full Dogfight matches without a freeze - and one of them was a very long, 7 round match.

Sounds like someone already hacked that Adversary Mode.

I've haven't been beaten all week. Sure my team has but I've been wrecking. So many noobs. I don't even kill much of the time, so it lasts longer and my payout is bigger. I just fly behind them for the two minutes. I'm all cool and they are Cougar, lost their cool:

Which aircrafts are you people using? I kept using Pyro until someone made a case of Nokota being the best. Now i think the guy trolled me (or I lack some significant skill), because while I won very often in Pyro, Nokota only allowed me to either lose or draw.

I'm sad to see the 2x stuff gone on this. This was my favorite AM next to slasher. It was great to play with a crowd of people who don't usually bother with jets in freemode. I made up to $81k in a win with four rounds.
