How do you see the transition of GTAV Online moving to GTAVI Online?

I hope that GTA online continues to expand, not end. Continuous updates and map expansion.

With gta6, you will be able to access the new map online, but be able to play in LS with the same disc.

It would be similar to the transion of gta online from last gen to PS4/PC/X1 except with a new map to explore and added features.

I say the same way we came to Los Santos, on a plane. Now if you meant gameplay wise, that's something I gotta think about.

They will hit the reset button. Hard. When GTA VI comes there will be a new iteration of GTA Online, and Strauss Zelnick would not be the bag of wank that he is if anybody kept anything other than maybe some vanity tokens from this version of GTA Online. He said more than once that you guys are not paying him enough. If they keep microtransactons to Shark Cards only - as unlikely as that is - they will squeeze a lot harder from the get go the next time around. You can't have multimillionaires running around in your brand new game ruining your small game company's profits. Also, everybody knows AAA multiplayer games need loot boxes. The customers want to pay hard cash for a dice roll granting them a package of pistol ammo, a pink knife skin and a t-shirt with the logo of the local soft rock radio station, so that is what they get.

And honestly, every pc player who even considers giving T2 and R* even a cent of their money after they stole millions of GTA$ from honest players and stonewalled them with bot answers for what are now 2.5 months deserves exactly that.

Whilst I've always looked forward to the next game in the GTA series, I'm really not looking forward to starting over in a new version of GTAO. We have 4 years invested in this game now.

I can only hope that a remaster and expansion is the way forward, putting Los Santos on the new map as one land mass among several. We can branch out into these other land masses but cannot 'move' there unless you make ends meet in the local currency. Alternatively we get another character on another land mass who would be starting over but all in the same 'world'. Visiting characters would be limited there with no mechanic or Pegasus services at their disposal. You take one vehicle 'abroad' by ferry or fly in and steal what you need.

Then we could keep our stuff, travel wherever but only buy property there if we earn it there. Yeah the idea needs working on, lets hope R* do so.

Absolutely no chance of you keeping anything from GTA V online and transferring it to GTA VI.

 

At the absolute most, maybe your character, but no cash, cars, properties etc..

 

Two words! Cash Cards!

 

There will be so many that won't want to be patient and go through the grind again!..

It would be a poor business decision to allow transfers.

 

Annoying as hell for the consumer, smart financial decision for Rockstar.
