Online player blacklist/penalty

There needs to be an online player blacklist option. There really does. I am sick and tired of the impatient types of players who quit the first instance someone accidentally does something wrong in a heist. YOU as the heist leader waits a half an hour to damn near HOURS for people to join a heist. You finally get some people after a long ass wait. You think things are all good, but then some idiot decides to want to quit out of nowhere because of the first death that occurs during a heist.

 

You have no idea how completely agitating this is. They quit, you are subjected to wait a long ass time YET AGAIN for people to rejoin your heist.

 

I wish there was a way to blacklist players in-game and not just on PSN. To just completely avoid these players altogether would be a step forward to making this online experience great. Or perhaps if there was some way to mark players for everyone to see how often the player quits missions for no reason. Maybe mark their name in red. Or put a skull next to their name. Of course it will disappear after several hours of good behavior, i.e., not quitting heists. But these people need to be acknowledged as being a cancer to heist missions.

 

A penalize option would be very great as well. Depending how often a player abruptly quits heists, a large chunk of their money should be abruptly removed from their bank stash as well. A certain percentage each time. I wrote "depending how often a player abruptly quits", because you never know when a power outage may occur in that person's area, or if they forgot to pay their internet bill for the month and their PS4 shuts off. But I am sure Rockstar techs can figure things out.

 

But yeah, penalizing a player for quitting would make them think twice from quitting matches just because of their own impatience. And it will make the Online Mode a little more tolerable as well. And maybe blacklisting them will help other players to avoid adding these types of people to heists. This is just my two cents on the idea. Please acknowledge this request, Rockstar. Unfortunately R does not care about heists anymore. The elite timers are still broken for probably over a year now.

You will either have to continue dealing with the bs or give them up.

Also, blame Rockstar Games in the first place for creating such a shoddy matchmaking/ lobby system. There could even be an alert screen when people join Heists - even if it's something silly like "Heists aren't for the feint-hearted. Make sure you're prepared and have plenty of time available" but then there's lots of things which they COULD do, and lots of failed systems or mechanisms within the game, so I won't even go there.

I know this can be annoying, but who am I to tell other people what they can or can't do in their free time. Maybe the person who left had connection issues or had to go to the toilet (or some other emergency). Find some reliable friends to play with to solve this problem. And that can be as simple as adding random folks to your friends list who successfully completed one or more heists with you. It's what I did.
