Cannot Ghost Org Whilst Selling Using I/E

Hi all, I recently attempted to sell three cars using Import/Export, and at the beginning wished to used ghost organisation to avoid any unwanted attention. This time however, the option was blanked out and I couldn't use it and, unsurprisingly, a hydra came along and took all of the cars out costing me $240,000 in profits. I have since contacted R* about this and they say that it isn't possible to Ghost Org whilst delivering, which unless something has happened in the past week I know to be false, as I have done this multiple times before whilst selling cars. If anyone could help clarify what's going on it would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely, someone was running something in the session which blanks it out. Maybe a Biker activity, or freeroam event? I forget, but definitely one does disable it, maybe Moving Target or something.

Cheers, makes sense I guess, although it should seem blindingly obvious that I'm not trying to sneak a win in a biker activity when I've got $300,000 in cargo sitting on the map. I've replied to them stating that I've definitely used this before and I'm not sure why they say that I can't Ghost Org when delivering. Thanks for the insight.

I've also had rare occasions where it is unavailable. As for the incorrect information from R*support, do they just make it up?

Hi all, just thought I'd let everyone know that after explaining everything to R* that they decided to refund me $350,000, which is more than I informed that I wanted in the beginning anyway, which was nice. If this happens to anyone in the future, best thing to do is record it for proof, as I had to sweet talk a bit as to why I didn't record, and then make a claim and you will get reimbursement all going well. Cheers for the answers.

Yes, it was just a once off problem, thankfully. Used today with no issues since.

I know, I really wasn't predicting that, but considering my low expectations it was all relatively painless. Would advise other players affected by issues such as this one to at least try your luck with it.

Trying your luck with support isn't always the best, for me. Sure you have nothing more to lose. But when they reply with incompetence and invalid information, it then becomes a matter of principle for me to see it through. This takes lots of time and effort, stresses me out. So I tend not to bother contacting them anymore.

Whilst I get that, this exchange took no more than four messages from me and, in my eyes, was well worth the trouble of messaging them. I do agree that if it was a smaller sum or a more hazy problem that their support might not be worth it, but I'm just speaking of my experience on this one issue. Saying that, there is every chance I could have got a different contact who refused to refund me. Maybe I just got lucky.
