The New "VIGILANTE" or the Rock-Steady time proven Ruiner 2k?

I was in my duke, when all of the sudden something rammed into me at break neck speed from behind...

He was just using his machine guns and even thought he rammed me several times, the good ole duke actually stayed together until some [ball-less fa**ot zonked me with a buzzard] and interfered with our situation...

I will tell you that the VIGILANTE machine guns where not impacting me, and that made me Happy, but then later on there was a car that shot a missile at me from behind and exploded the duke to pieces... I did not get to see what it was.

My question is this....

Does this bad ass new VIGILANTE car come with an up gradable missile capability?

Or was that maybe a "Ruiner 2k" that shot the missile at me?

Last question...

Ruiner 2k or VIGILANTE? Which car comes out on top??

Thanks My Dudes...

Chev.

Yes, you can upgrade it with missles in your Mobile Operations Center. They are the same missles that the Ruiner 2k has.

Ruiner 2k or VIGILANTE? Which car comes out on top?

The Ruiner can jump and has a parachute, the Vigilante has increased ramming power and a rocket boost. So pick whatever is more important to you. Both blow up with just one explosive.

The Ruiner is a "Special Vehicle" that can only be stored below the Vehicle Warehouse and cannot be used in missions. The Vigilante is a regular personal vehicle, so it can be used in missions. It can also be used in Heists, and it has a special perk that the windows are bulletproof (in Heists only).

I would say go with the Vigilante.

Got it. Thanks for the information Mach1bud, I was pondering after this happened and asking myself, is the new Vigilante a "Game Changer", and low and behold it is.

Once again, thanks for the 411.

For me the Ruiner is the one. I have enough money on all my accounts for the Vigilante without noticing it but I've only bought it on 2... Yep ok it's cool that it's a PV but the Ruiner is 1: overall much more deadly, ie. you have a reasonable chance against a Hydra in the standard Ruiner, at least 50-50 if you are smart., you don't have hardly any chance in the Vigilante. 2: You can get the VIP Ruiner for twenty glorious minutes every hour and that alone is worth the price of the Ruiner.

I am speaking from the point of view that I have oppressors if I want to use something in missions or as a killing PV though.

Vigilante can carry 36 rockets while the R2K have only 8 ... Until you start the Fully Loaded VIP work that is.

Bro, how can you get the VIP Ruiner 2k for 20 minutes?

Do you to have a CEO Vehicle warehouse?

Yes you have to own a vehicle warehouse to store the Ruiner 2k. Once you own one, you can do the VIP work that gives you an extra special Ruiner 2k that has increased armor and can withstand many explosions, and has unlimited rockets for 20 mins.

Elfoam is correct that the Ruiner 2k is the better choice for freeroam battles.

I tend to think of things only from a PvE perspective.

Ruiner 2K gives you the Fully Loaded Ruiner 2k which is amazing in freeroam combat for the exact reasons mach listed above me, only downside is the windows are not bulletproof in any situation which is fair. Vigilante is okay, it's super fast and has insane ramming power which is good when police are after you and you need to push through them. I don't use the vigilante much because imo the oppressor, MOC Hauler, Weaponized Tampa and FLR2K are more practical in combat situations. to cut the crap i'd go with the ruiner 2k.

The Vigilante can only carry 30 missiles, not 36, R2K only 8.

The missiles on the Vigilante are very near R2K level. Since I used both vehicles often, I noticed that R2K's missiles are a little more "aggressive" than Vigilante's but they both still chase their targets recklessly.

Its kinda complicated what I mean by aggressive but lets just put it this way, if you fire a missile near a target with the Vigilante it will often miss initially and it will spin its target several times before slamming into the ground near the target which often kills the target.

On the other hand with the R2K's more "aggressive" missiles, if you fire near the target it could miss and it will spin its targets several times albeit in a sharper angle. After a second or so it will do a sharp 90 degree turn and the missile will slam directly square on the face of that enemy. Its also worth noting that R2K's missiles can do an instant 180 degree turn when the Vigilante's can't.

Either way both missiles are great and I think the Vigilante is the best weapon against Oppressor users, but if I need a car that can fire extremely accurate missiles, R2K all day for me.

Smooth Longsack

^^^ this.

Also, the vigilante is yet another victim of the pyro. The vig needs an angle to get a lock on the high flying speed demon (pyro) whereas the ruiner can make the angle at any time.

FL Ruiner 2K > Vigilante > Ruiner 2K

The Vigilante is a fun toy, but it's just a very unsafe vehicle in today's free roam PvP environment, compare and contrast with the FL Ruiner which has Insurgent-grade explosive resistance. The storable Ruiner 2K is just terrible in comparison with very limited ammo and even less protection than the Vigilante (which at least has a BP back), use it for car meets or cruising but not for combat.

Dragon_Of_Tragedy

It probably was someone with a "free" vigilante who rammed you. The ruiner2000 doesn't ram anything.lol

The method was patched.

Blame youtubers. They love sucking that dirty d(i)ck just to get those views.

Also if you destroy your Vigilante. expect to pay insurance of around $20k while the Ruiner2k I believe doesn't have an insurance cost as it is a special vehicle.
