Why the hate/disinterest for stockpile?

Hi all, sometimes the 2x payouts make certain adversary modes worth playing.

Stockpile is one of these if you set it for 2 teams for 2 ten minute rounds and the winning team will get at least 70k each (2rounds) or 100k+ if it goes to 3 rounds. The losers get about half this amount.

Set up with 2 even teams I find it can be pretty fun with more than 2 teams make it less focused and less likely to be a even match, and also seems to have lower payouts.

But I am having real trouble getting people into a lobby I just do not really understand why.

Could be matchmaking issues?

 

Or that this adversary mode isn't really all too great to begin with, regardless of the payouts.

 

Pretty sure everyone's busy running hangar cargo as sales are double cash and RP til next week.

I think stockpile blew its load when it was 2x money a couple weeks back. I was joining by quick job and every lobby was packed, I would say even more so than Transform races.

I tried hosting one yesterday and no one joined. Tried joining through quick job and that mode never came up.

Plus it gets boring after a while and most players werent that good at flying so yea.

It was good while it lasted, made a ton of cash but the party is over.

Stockpile doesn't interest me because it doesn't require a lot of skill. In fact, you can spend most of the round just hunting down other planes, and then make a quick burst for the targets at the end. I prefer strategy and tactics. They were good fun at first, but quickly become dissatisfying.

It is 2x at the moment they turned it back on this Tuesday.

But it is not that obvious so I guess no one realizes.

I don't think its just a matter of hate or disinterest. The difference between last time stockpile was 2x and this time is that this time it isn't the little green featured AM thing on the map. And I haven't really seen it popping up on the orange AM icons either.

 

There are always people willing to play 2x cash+RP jobs, but only if Rockstar makes them extremely easy to find.

I still believe that most GTAO players want something they can get their teeth into. The fact Rockstar has neglected to give us anything of note since heists says it all.

I agree,

Heists part 2 is the DLC I would most love to see added, or at least something more structured than the adv modes and free roam additions that we get.

Because it's repetitive as sh*t? All you're doing is flying back and forth in a small area.

Not to mention it is a lock-on missile fest. It gave me a headache. Even the Hunter one is a snooze fest.

Give me double Entourage any day. This Adversary is one of the most boring ones.
