WoWjetpack
I am playing a downgraded version of gta sa for steam on windows 10(It doesn't seem to run through steam at all so I guess its been copied from the steam version as a whole new thing)-(not really sure) (I'm guessing its not a steam version at all now) Anyway I am trying to hook up an xbox one wired controller to work with the game. I know about G-input and other stuff like that but I am looking to only map the keyboard instead. I have a software program called "AntiMicro" and have set it up successfully and it maps the keyboard and mouse just fine. HERE IS THE PROBLEM, ---When I am running "AntiMicro" to use with the game it has some arguments with the default joypad support (even though the controls are set to keyboard/mouse)(not joypad) When I am not running "AntiMicro" at all: I plug my xbox one controller in and start the game it automatically connects and starts working. So by default my game supports the controller automatically as a "joypad". and it starts working right away. (EVEN WHEN I SET THE CONTROLLER SETTING TO MOUSE/KEYBOARD INSTEAD) -----But I want to only use the "AntiMicro" to map the keyboard to the controller. So I am trying to find a way to disable the automatic joypad support that Gta San Andreas already has. Any help is appreciated! guard3
I really got confused. If you want to play with a controller, you get G-Input (default support for controller sucks). If you want keyboard and mouse, you redefine controls. If you want to play with just the keyboard, you use joypad and redifine controls for the keyboard. Why the need to map the keyboard?
