Locking on

Hey, been away, and couldnt find anything on this subject. It was possible to lock on to players in vehicles, while on the opressor or the ruiner. Now it only locks on to police vehicles and policeman.

 

Was something changed? Or is this problem something that only I have encountered.

Check your targeting priority in the interaction menu.

Special Cargo mission-vehicles and IE cars aren't lockable IIRC.

 

When a Cargobob is lifting an IE car, its lockable though.

Well I checked the aim, it says fully assisted, but I guess, something else is wrong. I used to be able to take down bounties on the run via opressor,but now it dosent lock on rendering the opressor pretty useless. Lol.

We mean your target lock priority in the menu. If you set it to "Strangers", you can't lock onto friends both in AA and a vehicle with missiles.

 

Otherwise, it's just a guy in a I/E or SP Cargo vehicle. If you really want to kill 'em, spray dumb-fire missiles and hope for the best lel

Not that option. Open up your interaction menu ingame with M, scroll down to targeting prioritiy and set it to the option you want. All aims at all, even friends. Strangers aims at all, except friends and attacker aims only at someone that attacks you.

A buddy said, he can attack other buzzards that fired homing rockets at him. Dunno if thats true, i always have it set to strangers.

I'll have to test it. This will be a godsend in GTAF friendly sessions, and will prevent a lot of accidental kills (lock-ons by accident lel)! Edited November 1, 2017 by PwnageSoldier
