Bleezey
Anyone else played the new South Park game? I was wondering if people have been enjoying it over Stick of Truth, or if fans of the games enjoyed Stick of Truth better. Personally, I've been enjoying Fractured But Whole more, but just simply because the combat system is way more fun to play. However, the lack of a "dash" button makes roaming around a lot more annoying.
We Are Ninja
Never played either game, honestly. But I always wondered if the series' humor translated well to video games...
IllregentHUN
The humor in the first part was really good, mostly like in the series. The second part was really funny too but it was much less "questionable". I prefer the first one but both of them are a great experience. Naughtius Maximus
Hmm... let's see. The humor in The Stick of Truth was way more remarkable to me: sometimes childish, crude yet right-on-the-spot. For example, I really liked how abilities are depicted as kind of prankish: like one of Cartman's fire attacks is him blazing his farts with a lighter, or Stan's defense reducing ability is prompting his dog Sparky to attack an opponent with a laser pointer. And not just that, actually the whole game universe feels like light-toned, childish, amateurish but stays loyal to the South Park spirit. Unfortunately, The Fractured But Whole lacks in this but it has its own strengths. Like OP said, the combat in TFBW feels more entertaining (and absolutely improved). I like how some fights in TFBW are occasionally challenging to the player in a good way. Yeah, both games are relatively easy but TSOT is more prone to be repetitive and boring in time as it's a "walk in the park" compared to TFBW. The only boss fight which frustrated me in TSOT was Al Gore as far as I can remember. In short, I like both games equally for different reasons. GTA-Biker
I played both a few years ago.Personally,I prefer the humor from TSOT,and the story felt longer and more epic, but I like the combat slightly more in TFBW.I would recommend both for any South Park fans.
