4. Michael (He's ok, mediocre)

5. Johny (Great character, but I was never into the biker theme)

6. Trevor (Oh god...)

 

Never played CW so I don't rank Huang Lee.

1. Niko. Compelling character with a symphatic background and goal, aswell a very meaningfull growth in the end, which I interpretated as him finally giving up crime.

 

2. Johnny. The voice of reason against Billy's chaotic personality. I really liked his weakness being Ashley, and him comming to terms with this weakness getting rid of her, and thus growing as a character. It's a shame all of this character development was undone with GTA V though.

 

3. Michael. Interesting character in many ways. I personally find his betrayal very understandable. He had a family to look after, and Trevor is obviously a loose cannon.

 

4. Trevor. Say what you will about Trevor, but atleast he's unique and new and has some funny moments. He does feel more like an antagonist to me though. He's just a dick to everyone except Michael and Franklin for some reason the game never really bothers to explain.

 

5. Luis. Unclear motives for helping Tony, and no growth. Has some funny lines and good dialogue though.

 

6. Franklin. Blank slate with almost no personality. Boring motives, no growth and almost no bearing on the overall plot.

 

I havn't played CTW, so I won't judge Huang.

[GTA-Biker]

1 Niko-the most well developed character in the HD universe (possibly the whole GTA series)

2 Johnny-also a well developed character,and since I'm a fan of motorcycles I was glad to see a biker protagonist

3 Online protagonist-I like how players can customize Online protagonist to be whatever the player wants (mobster, gangbanger, outlaw biker, mercenary...)

4 Michael-IMO the most developed of the 3 protagonists from GTA 5,but not nearly as good as Niko or Johnny

5 Luis-a little bland

6 Franklin-also a little bland,but unlike Luis who was loyal to his friends,once he gets rich he abandons them and at first didn't even want to save Lamar from Ballas

7 Trevor-he just throws tantrums like an immature manchild all the time,and to make things worse he kills a better protagonist in his first mission just to make him seem badass

 

I haven't played CTW and I don't know much about Huang,so I didn't include him on the list.

I'm curious why people like Franklin enough to put him in their top 3. Please tell what you like about him?

 

EDIT: MSXDK said he liked him beause he felt the most lifelike. Franklin only feels this wayto you, because Trevor and Michael are pretty over the top.

I don't remember Chinatown Wars much, but I didn't really feel anything for the protagonist for the half-game I played. Therefore don't think I could rank him anywhere, so just put him in last.
