FrostWoLf Posted November 27, 2017 Author Share Posted November 27, 2017 (edited) I was busy for the last week, didn't have a chance to check on this, i don't know why it's happening, havent tried to just joyride around without doing anything, i was trying to take over starfish island, territories, maybe that could be the reason? The minidump error, however, happens at random 15-25 minutes after i load the save file, maybe i should drop in the save file? so you could test it if it's related to something.. There should be a crash after a while if: You don't take over any other turfs in VC besides one of the trailer park mafia ones You don't travel to any other cities and stay in VC after taking them over This is because the game will choose from any player-owned turfs inside VC while playing there. Since there is no owned turf there by default, taking over one of the trailer park mafia ones means there is only option for the game to choose from, and the game should crash. Then, be sure you copy the minidump(s) to a folder named "Trailer Park Mafia defensive GW crash" (or anything else which makes it clear to me which is which), and repeat this process for Diaz's gang. And finally, try playing the game normally, with the following requirements: Only stay in VC Do not take over any gang turfs owned by the Trailer Park Mafia and Diaz's Gang. On top of that, also be sure to not take over any turfs directly next to any of the turfs these two gangs own. This is because the two gangs can attack these turfs and that can crash the game too (the best approach would be to not take over anything as there are other gang blips which have the same problem) If there are any crashes, (or even none), add them to a folder labelled "Unrelated VC crashes". After doing these steps I can check the minidumps from all three cases so I will hopefully have a clearer view of your problem (as there can be other issues in VC not related to defensive gang wars, excluding the known problem with certain gang blips crashing the game can help solving any other issues) Possible outcomes and how this helps me (just for clarification): You don't run into any crashes while in VC when not taking over turfs belonging or right next to the above mentioned gangs: There may not be an unrelated problem causing the game to crash You do run into any crashes while in VC when not taking over turfs belonging or right next to the above mentioned gangs: There is an unrelated problem that needs to be fixed. But, i will try it, thank you. 1) Confirmed, it happened halfway after i tried to take the last of TPM turfs. Perhaps, i should try to take over single turf from other gangs and then try to take over one of these... i'm gonna try this aswell. Edit: Also, i'm having unrelated minidump error doing burgrlary (every time after taking 4th item to the truck) is it normal? So far, if i have a turf piece before trying to take any gangs all turfs, i don't have an error, otherwise i do.
