Could triathlon races online be any fun or are transform races better?

 

I just imagined them being in freemode. The chaos...

 

Otherwise I don't see why they couldnt be implemented. They are already in single player mode.

It could be a great idea but think about it :

 

some people online has "Fast Running" mod enabled on them (Even on PS4/Xbox) and there's even a glitch to run faster (With the Single Player Cheat). Now, imagine the triathlon with those players? It's a good idea overall, but this part of the community could break the fair-nest of that event.

 

it could be great for new-players to upgrade their Stamina and Strengh Skills. But for old players who has everything filled up, it needs good payout to make them play those events.

 

And also, it could be nice if we could create some Foot races, to make "Parkour" tracks and stuff like that.

Great idea, Ive thought about it as well.. overall I think GTA Online should get more non-violent pastimes.. Remember the good old days when I actually went for a round of golf to take the edge off.

it would be the equivalent of Tennis.

 

it's fun after liek 1 or 2 games then its like 'well this is pointless/boring'

 

idk, rockstar could do something cool with it, like add a special good loooking clothing (cuz most of the special clothing is trash), or unlocks for cars/ new locations for apartments/houses

 

or something to make the Triathlons grindy and worth it.

I think triathlons are too long and people would just leave when they realize they're losing. I wouldn't be surprised if R* implement catchup system for this.

The payout would have to be VERY generous for me to even touch one. Unless they're all the length of the first or even second one from SP.... third? No way! It'd have to pay a million dollars for me to even attempt that 30 minute pile of sh*t with me breaking the A button, I'm certainly not doing that for less than a guaranteed 100k

It would be cool if you could do the triathlons with a heart rate monitor fixed to the controller, the faster your heart rate is, the faster your character goes, but don't go overboard now~

$10k payout but you get sponsorship which result in free snacks, less expensive ammo and car mods, maybe even free guns and cars after a certain amount of wins

Like mentioned above, tennis, golf, armpress etc is online since release, but never touched by rockstar since then.

Bike race where you have to run along the beach, swim up the river and THEN get on a bike and ride to the finish.

 

Get creative, it can be done (and likely has, to death, if you search social club).

I wouldn't care for triathlon themselves. I just want the three triathlo suits locked on single player. Doesn't make any sense why wouldn't they be included online.

Found them pretty boring in SP tbh...my controller also doesn't need that kind of abuse.

 

Only way it could be fun for me would be if it were some kind of locked special event that happened infrequently with some kinda prize...maybe once or twice a year.
