Save Transfer

Hi there,

I have been playing GTA Online on my Xbox 360, and I have been thinking about buying a PS4, so I was wondering, if I was to log in to the PS4 version with my Rockstar account, would all of my progress from the Xbox 360 transfer over?

Transfers were disabled a while back. You won't be able to progress with your current character unfortunately.

That's a little bit annoying. I hope they change it back. I really don't want to have to start over.

Highly unlikely they'll change it back. The main reason they did it was to prevent players transfering modded accounts.

 

You could however ask Rockstar Support. They may possibly allow you to transfer.

There's no harm in asking them, as long as everything in your account looks legitimate. They've been able to do some "special" transfers before (PC->console)

They shut it down all because f*cking bundles of sticks were selling modded accounts on last-gen for transfers and C* was to incompetent to shut those f*ckers down so they shut everything down.

Rockstar can still do it, not sure how or who you would contact though but it's worth a try.
