Look the job up on Social Club and you can see the leaderboard. (scroll down to the bottom and it's "leaders").

I just did some testing with those ground vehicles that are used in the races, but which I currenly don't own.

 

Akuma (used in Plummet III) - vanilla version needs about 39 seconds for its track section

 

FMJ (used in Split Personality) - vanilla version needs about 30 seconds for its track section

 

Vortex (used in Home Run) - vanilla version needs about 37 seconds for its track section

 

Zentorno (used in McKenzie) - vanilla version needs about 49 seconds for its track section

 

I might get one of the bikes (maybe the Akuma, I already have a Bennified Vortex and I don't feel like buying a bland standard Vortex just for one Transform Race),

 

I really don't think that a Custom FMJ is worth it for Split Personality. That car is only used on a very short section of its track.

 

And while a Custom Zentorno will certainly make a difference on McKenzie, the race itself doesn't pay well since a half-decent driver will complete it in less than 4 minutes.

Thanks, I guess I got it mixed up with the FCR 1000 ... too many Pegassi bikes in this game. Another reason why I lean towards the Akuma.

The races sound interesting, but they involve planes so I'll pass. Lamar's missions have to be played with other people, that's not gonna happen. Oh well, two cars I want are on sale so I guess I'll get those.

It's the contact missions, not the Benny's related ones. I'm pretty sure all Lamar contact missions are doable solo.

I went from 890 to 895 in one not-even-that-long session. Gonna power through 900 before next Thursday.

 

Slightly ahead of schedule..

I'm laughing the entire way with everyone behind me in my V12 Shaf but then that second to last checkpoint Rockstar decides to give all drivers of this car a middle finger

It's almost as if they made it that way on purpose, knowing the Schaf V12 dominates every other sports car in a straight line.

Hold down your brakes whilst in the air and point your car towards the ground.

 

Straighten out once you're just about to land.

Holding Shift to lean in makes you faster on the track bikes, sacrificing some of the turning radius.

Yeah I believe it was Shift.

Just like on motorbikes right? Because I did that, yet a few times I still had people zipping just by. I mean they weren't much faster, but still noticeable to get a 5 Second lead during the bike part (Being on PC I Never know if it was truly legitimate or not).

Oh and thanks Rockstar again for removing the RP cap, making what would be 5k (capped single) into 16k ("double") for winning in a full lobby.

Well i used this back in the non-Sonic-landscape-racing era and were accused of hacking because of this speed boost.

Went through the other day and played 'em all with a couple friends.

 

For the most part they're a lot of fun. Some were better than others, and a couple had some rather tedious moments (who thought a SAILBOAT was a good idea?!). On the whole though I'm enjoying them. I can hardly wait to see what some people do with this stuff in the Creator.

 

I also really like that if you select a custom vehicle before the start of the race, if you have custom Special Vehicles in the race it'll give them to you. (If the race features the Rocket Voltic, for example, and you own one, it'll give you YOUR Rocket Voltic and not just a random one) I think that's a nice touch.

 

I was also reminded of how much I want an Oppressor. DAMN that thing is fun!
