We already knew the drip feed was gonna stretch long past Halloween.. the last vehicle to be drip fed was to come Nov 21st, marking the end of the drip feed.

 

Now that they skipped a week (for the second time), along with Halloween rumoured to be a two week event, it's pretty much looking like the drip feed will stretch to December.

Then after the last vehicle is released, another DLC is announced, giving birth to another drip feed which will extend until the next DLC and so on...

 

It's a never ending loop!

The potential is great, and the creator community will no doubt do some good ones. I like the warp feature, that really has promise. The courses are too big, too open to be really fun though. The best races are the tight twisty ones.

How do you know when he has last logged on so there would actually be pit loads of new things to do? Dripfeeding content needs to stop.

Tried the Transform races

 

1st race = got kicked from lobby

 

2nd race = as soon as we were all planes, got divebombed, explode, too far back to catch up. Finish 4th.

 

3rd race = transformed into Besra, enter tunnel, jet glitched and became stuck on the tunnel wall. Respawn, finish 7th.

 

Turned GTAO off.

I had forgotton my original prediction.

 

The Hunter is going to be our "Christmas surprise" this year, by the looks of it.

So don't expect anything new in December, these interruptions in the dripfeed pretty much prove it.

 

At least last year's "surprise" wasn't leaked until it was already December. They've really let the laziness fester this year.

C* made the dripfeed ridiculous this time around. Planes are the worst thing they could dripfeed, hardly anybody buys or uses them! Especially the ones without weapons or the one requiring multiple players

The transform races is a part of the dripfeed, so instead of a vehicle we got the races...

Since this event week ends on a Thursday I hope R* surprises us and release a vehicle next week or maybe even one now on Friday but I highly doubt that would happen

I'm liking the fact that whatever vehicle I turn into I have a custom version. The Havok in particular seems to be massively faster than stock. And I get to give my custom Swift a day out too.

 

Overall quite like them, someone of the designs suck ass though. That exit from the baseball stadium when you turn into a bike cloud of smoke at exactly the wrong time.

Played them all, and only one feature really grabbed my attention. Warp checkpoints... f*cking amazing stuff! Cannot wait for the creator!

 

Noticed they have been quite creative with their races too.

I'm enjoying the races more than I thought I would.

 

It's nice that being almost at full vehicle capacity gives an advantage and has a purpose other than just having them for the sake of a collection, only had to buy a Faggio Sport and rebuy a Brioso R/A.

 

Some of the tracks are better than others, and as a middle of the pack racer there isn't much in the way of longevity.

 

There is only so much enjoyment long term in either dominating those who don't have the custom cars or being beaten by more dedicated racers who also have all the required vehicles.

 

It is good fun for now, its a shame the pay isn't on a par with AMs on x2, but I'm really looking forward to the content creator community getting hold of the props and taking the track design to another level.

Because you probably don't own a custom variant of that aircraft or it's just slow in general.

Flying is more about minimising the distance travelled than anything else, as you never lift off the gas.

After months of grinding these races are actually fun. Not perfect in anyway and still full of idiot rammers but when you have enough $ to not care and fed up grinding this is hours of fun. Better than the SR DLC that's for sure

Slam dunk is a nightmare not mastered that yet but all in all pretty fun especially with a full lobby. Even had messages when races close like "damn good race bro so close on last corner" so not all racers are douches

I enjoyed stunt races, and still do actually, but I'm finding some of the TR to be even more fun. Anything with the Molotok, in Soviet Russia, Molotok flies you!

This is an amazing whole new racing life that Rockstar have bought into GTAO...... its made it so much more exciting.

 

Cant wait till the props are made available in Creator for us.

I hate the positioning of the most the vehicle upon a change. Especially, with the seashark.

 

Also, some record holders, the game says"custom seashark," anyone know if this is actually a modded/faster version from last gen? I do find the races interesting and favoring experienced players while appealing to mindless rando noobs.
