GTA Online: Transform Races Now Available to Play

Launch your supercar from Stunt Ramps, skydive over the Alamo Sea and barrel roll through Air Gates on your way to the finish line - all in the same track with Transform Races, the latest evolution of racing in GTA Online. Transform Races are part Stunt Race and part mind-bending metamorphosis, switching you from land to sea to sky, and back again

 

These 15 new Rockstar Created Races will have you piloting fan-favorite vehicles across the various classes - from nimble planes like the Besra and Molotok to speedy Supers like the Vagner and Zentorno, and even versatile Special Vehicles like the Ruiner 2000 and Rocket Voltic. For a rundown of all the Transform Races now available to play, with links to bookmark each of them on Social Club for quick and easy access, check out the descriptions below:

 

Gauntlet II - Theres the surgically precise fighter pilot, and theres the maniac with his foot on the floor of a Phantom Wedge. You'll need to be both here. Featuring the Molotok, Motorcycles, the Phantom Wedge and the Oppressor.

 

Get Wrecked - Get creative above the Los Santos Docklands on this destructive lap Transform Race. Featuring the Seashark, Shotaro, Super cars, the Mallard, and Havok.

 

 

Home Run - You havent thrown a real San Andreas no-hitter until youve taken five vehicles through the land, sea and airspace of Blaine County. Featuring Super cars, the Vortex, Mallard, Seashark and Havok.

 

Junk Yard - When the apocalypse finally gets underway in San Andreas, and the world lies in ruins, you can bet there will be some interesting racing opportunities in amongst the wreckage. Get practicing for the big day. Featuring Motorcycles, the Seashark and Mallard.

 

McKenzie - If you want all the highs and lows of Blaine County with none of the itches and nosebleeds, this point to point Transform Race that starts on Motorcycles is for you. Also featuring the Besra, Blazer Aqua, Zentorno and Trophy Truck.

 

 

Mixed-Up - Watch as the docklands, airport, business district and Legion Square all bleed into a single migraine-inducing blur in this Lap Transform Race. Featuring Super cars, the Besra, Ramp Buggy and Rocket Voltic.

 

Neon Mountain - Ever wondered what it would be like to drop a few tabs and race through the title sequence of some vintage 80s sci-fi? Featuring Motorcycles, the Besra and Seashark.

 

Plummet III - Make short work of the stratosphere in a really expensive sports car with a twist or four. Featuring Sports cars, the Besra, Blazer Aqua, Havok and Akuma.

 

 

Separation - Start off strapped into the lovechild of a supercar and a space shuttle. Throw in a tightly-wound stunt plane and a herd of pocket-sized helicopters, and your multitasking better be up to scratch. Featuring the Rocket Voltic, the Mallard, Havok and Motorcycles.

 

Slalom - Whether youre weaving through obstacles on two wheels, four wheels or two wings, the fundamental skills are the same: balance, precision, and dodging the flaming wrecks of your former competitors. Featuring Motorcycles, the Mallard and XA-21.

Thanks for the update, Rafae. Looks interesting - 15 new transform races with 2x payouts until October 26th.

That means we'll be getting the Halloween update on Friday October 27th, with Halloween falling the next Tuesday 31st. We'll no doubt get the Vigilante and many other goodies.

But no Coil Cyclone or Seabreeze which we've known about for months. And we'll have to wait well into November for the much anticipated Hunter. Rockstar does love its dripfeeding, seriously, and I'm half expecting this yawn-a-thon to go until Christmas.

The payouts for these races are bad, I came 4th and blew up a few laps back and decided to watch the rest of the race to see what the payouts were the race lasted 22 mins and the winner got 26k and that's double money! Not a great incentive althought fairly fun to play.

Ok, I gotta admit. I just tried a few of the Transform Races and they are fun tbh. "Transform: Slam Dunk" is my favorite so far...

Sometimes when you hit a checkpoint to transform the 'puff of smoke' doesn't go away until you hit another checkpoint to transform.

I was just in a race and a few players hit it a checkpoint when you turn into bicycles and they were a cloud of smoke racing until we hit the helicopter checkpoint. lol

About the speculation in regards to when the vehicles will release, well, there's no way of telling for sure. You can guess all you want, but only the devs themselves know. People have said countless times that a certain type of vehicle will release tomorrow, only to be dead wrong, and this has been going on since the first time Rockstar decided to drip feed. This is no different to predicting when the world will end. A dude will make a predictiion, and when he is wrong, he pushes the prediction to some other date, and the chain goes on and on and on...

 

Since there are now a few vehicles left to release, the chances of a Cyclone or Seabreeze coming next week is almost 50/50. If there were more vehicles left to release, the chances will lower.

So basically these sales are telling me to not even bother buying the Seabreeze as it'll just be 25% off in a few weeks and I can save some money. Whatever, I'm buying the Vigilante and the Hunter on release. Everything else can f*ck off until a good 50% sale.

 

I do hope Lamar's missions being double money is a hint at the next business update being more grounded like I/E was. I'd love for Lamar to be involved more, he's my favorite V character.

Agreed. People keep thinking it's every week, but this is the second time they've not released a vehicle on a Tuesday. Their release schedule is inconsistent and is not to be trusted. If they had wished, they would had not released a vehicles for two whole week, to further stretch the drip feed and make us confused as to when they're gonna release, as a way to create more anticipation and surprise us more.

We already knew the drip feed was gonna stretch long past Halloween.. the last vehicle to be drip fed was to come Nov 21st, marking the end of the drip feed.

 

Now that they skipped a week (for the second time), along with Halloween rumoured to be a two week event, it's pretty much looking like the drip feed will stretch to December.

I decided to give these transform races a little try and I must say, I am impressed with the tracks. Very creatively done Rockstar Games. Even though the double cash and rp for it is crap but I did enjoy it because I love new things. I love the thrill that I get to use all of my f*cking car collections to good use. I love the double cash and rp for Lamar missions because it is old school missions from back in the day in 2013-2014.
