Transform Races - Your Thoughts?

I've played the one called McKenzie twice and when riding the aqua blazer I'm unable to lower the wheels so can't complete the race? Pushed right dpad 100 times and nothing... works fine outside this race... frustrating... anyone seen this happen?

Well these are all very fun and exciting.......... cant wait till Rockstar release the props in Creator, for Custom Transform Races.

 

I did switch to one vehicle during a race, the Truck cab.

 

That would be awesome to have truck races.

Never been so disappointed. Was looking forward to this for weeks. All of them have flying sections, and I suck at flying for some reason. Even with catchup off everyone just flies past me going faster

I'm personally loving them so far! Having the chance to do some air racing and even bike racing it's just something I wouldn't think I'd be able to do ever again with a high ammount of players, 9/10 for this new mode, not 10/10 due to some annoying glitches in the starting grid and the smoke not letting me see where's the nose of my car when I transform, lol.

I like them, they're fun, haven't played all of them yet because each time I join a random one it's Neon Mountain, the bug with some players having the transformation smoke permanent after the transformation is hilarious, you just get this big cloud chasing you around lol

I'm in love with the warp checkpoints! Can't wait for the creator, got a couple of warp ideas up in my noggin

 

Already got a half dozen races nearly done. Just need to put in some warps/transform CPs and I'm good to go!

 

And I just got finished playing through all the new TRs.

Gotta say, I loved it. A few races are typical rockstar fair, no very creative or imaginative. And they need to mix up the vehicles, overusing a lot of them (seashark, besra)

Some of them are really good. Dragon for instance - flying through the dragons mouth in a plane, through his body in a Super then out up and over it's back to drop through it's head in a Compact and back out it's mouth.

 

Definitely will get a lot of repeat plays from me. 1 and a half thumbs up for TR

 

Unfortunately the race creator would be limited to 10 Transform Vehicles.

Um, is there some kind of trick with the Havok? Just did the Race where you have to go almost straight up with it and me and 2nd place were overtaken as if we we're doing half Speed. Non-contact and Customs off, so...

First impression: Very underwhelming. The focus is clearly on the visuals, instead of the racing. Especially the plane sections are a joke, not challenging at all. What's the point in flying a Besra (?) in one minute-long turn? On some tracks you go full throttle all the time. 2,3 tracks are okay (not good, only okay), but most of them have no replay value whatsoever. What a great concept and what a lousy uncreative track design.

That said, there will be awesome user created tracks in the future!

These are really fun with a group of 5 friends, doubt it'll be as good with randoms ramming everything. Some terrible vehicle choices and bad angles though, just like Stunt Races...they can't test them as well as they should. Also, too many Rocket Voltics.

This is a list with the best cars for the cunning stunts races, but I added the Transform where are all the cars you transform. I have my spanish guide for all premium cunning stunts and I added the transform races cars (because I think that this will be premium race soon). For example, on race Zebra (sports), is the only time where the Tropos Rallye is the best car.

On Plummet III (transform race), you start (or you have to choice) a Sport class, the best in this case is the Schafter V12, and then, you will transform to a Besra, Blazer Aqua, Havok and Akuma. So, is better if you have your own Blazer, Havok and Akuma. Besra doesn't matter if you use default or personal (if you have the Besra on the hangar).

For example there are 8 transform races where you select a bike, 6 of this I think that the Shotaro is better, and 2 is for the Bati.

 

So your question is, the cars that there are on Transform section, is the cars you transform on race, yes. There are race where you transform to a FMJ (I don't have this car buyed yet and it sucks because the others who have buyed go more faster than me xD).

I don't make videogames and never will. but clearly they eating up data programming with this bullsh*t and I could have had a new survival or heist by now. I'm not buying the "it takes too much to create new heist/missions" from them anymore, because they steady keep cranking out these sh*tty adversary modes and other trash week after week.

 

Rockstar didn't think this through at all, but I think this is geared towards the creator community and these transform races are just templates, I'm sure someone will make something creative and more enjoyable.

Well, you don't need to hire voice actors and create cutscenes and complicated scripting with races, like you do with heists and even the Benny's Lamar missions.

Why Survivals haven't been updated/added since June 17^th 2014 is a *%@*&$! mystery for the ages!

to the races at this state. I totally agree with "BLACK DYNAM1TE". Some transform points and placed obstacles right behind them are just insane. It's less a race if you have to remember every transform point and how to take it (by rote). Sometimes straight high - sometimes low, sometimes tilt'ish - bullsh*t. I hope the community is able to release propper races here - this is jerked off stuff by R*.

I love them so far! The only thing I hate is, of course, catch-up, and the assholes who try to crash you when you're in a plane. Other than that, most people suck at these, so I get first 95% of the time. Already made 600k off of them and I haven't been racing that long. Way better than the special vehicle races in my opinion, I didn't enjoy those too much. The only thing I'm afraid of is the lobbies being dead after double money is over, although normal stunt races still have full lobbies, so we'll see.

 

Only thing I would have changed is at least giving us a new car, but, oh well. Back to dripfeeding.

Logged in for the first time since Smugglers Run was released and went straight racing just to see what it's all about. First race and BAM! World record. Totally unexpected considering how fast cheaters have gotten hold of those records before. But I'm glad I finally got my racing blonde tattoo. On PC it's too late by now for any legit players to break the world records. I did it on "Junk Yard" race and I've been topped by 9 other guys already, most of them are obviously cheaters but on Xbox1 I'd still be holding the record with that time and on PS4 I would be on the 2nd place, so considering I'm not some Broughy's disciple, the console players may still have a good chance.

 

Other than that the races are quite good, although again some look like they haven't been tested properly before releasing. The tracks could also be more challenging and require some skill, right now you mostly just go at full speed or half speed if that stupid catch up is on, which it usually is. I haven't actually tried all the races yet as kids tend to vote for the same races all the time but I hope to see some cool player created races in the future.

Only played one race but I'm loving it so far. It's really fun, but the payouts are just laughable.

 

Lower payout do to race not being at least 8 minutes and not 16 players.

i love these. they are fun. its a fresh new form of racing. you have to be good at all types of vehicles. even parachutes. i love it. i also love how they add vehicles that are rarely ever used. like the bmx and race bike. or the marquis. that is such a slow boat. but it was cool to see it get some attention. even the hauler was used. i like how its not just super cars. you get a good amount of diversity. i also really love the tracks. they are very unique. i cant wait to see more tracks that rockstar makes. overall i like this. its not perfect though. there are some glitches that they need to fix. but overall i say its a fun unique dlc.
