I couldn't stop laughing at the little switch in Tug Life where you are in the air and you transform into a tug boat then into a Blazer aqua way before the actual switch to the tug bug, good one Rockstar lol

For those who've played them, do the new ones use the Havok and Molotok too damn much like the older ones? Cause that is what bore me of the older ones, the same vehicles showing up every race. Meanwhile the Seabreeze, Hunter, and.... something else only had one race while the Molotok and Havok were in most of them.

 

The Beast was my favorite as it at least had diversity compared to the others; Beast and Vigilante! Plus Halloween weather.... which is STILL stupid how they refuse to let it be October's ingame weather like Snow in December/January. Least they could do is let us make sh*t using that weather.....

idk but a staff eliminate the "bold" for the new vehicles.

I still love transform races. I think twister 2 is best of the bunch.

Not played them yet but going to give them all a whirl later today.

And the new warp CPs in the creator are gash. You have to place the exit point so close to the entry point it's hardly worth using them.

i wanna point out that it's not necessary to buy it, the performance upgrades don't give it any significant performance increase and it has downforce so spoiler doesn't add much grip. i was able to get a 2:50 lap on the Evolution race with a stock tezeract, and that was very close to a world record.

The question I ask is:

Is the game better, worse, or the same with them?

To  me, the game is better with them. Any content that is added to the game that makes effort to bring variety and freshness to a five year old video game is okay with me.

As for playing them, well, they're fun once in a while, but not something you can sit with and play over and over and over. Like eating pork rinds.

I didn't notice any difference after buying it than I did beforehand either

It may be in quite a few new Transform Races, but you're not actually in it that long to make a big difference

Which ones of these vehicles, if not all, would you guys say are absolutely necessary to own and have customized for whatever races they appear in?

Not that I play these races all too often but lately I've noticed that some players catch up even when I'm far far ahead, with or without slipstream and catch-up on. 16 new vehicles is a bit hefty just for the occasional transform race though.

Best races in the series.

 

Open Wheel tracks suck, period.

 

Nascar tracks are fun and I played many, many hours them.   Me and my buddy want to love them so badly, but it's just far to easy for dickheads to turn around and go backwards on the track to purposely ruin other peoples fun.    Rockstar introduced racing rules with Open Wheels, why can't they copy that from those sh*t races and paste it into Nascar which is actually fun?     Nascar would be #1 if Rockstar stopped trolls from going backwards on the courses.

 

Stunt Races are pretty fun and most of the tracks are good, though newer cars are getting to fast for some tracks designed with older, slower cars in mind.     Also some checkpoint placements on a few of Rockstars created tracks are quite bad.     This all leads to times checkpoints can easily be overshot.

 

Street Racing I used to like in like 2013 or whatever when the game came out on PS3.     But most street racing tracks are super short which hurt them a lot when Rockstar reworked hour the payout system worked.     And overall they just aren't as fun as something like stunt races that all kinds of crazy jumps and high speed tubes and all that.

 

Then the best, Transform Races.    It's like Stunt Races but instead of being restricted to a single car all races, your constantly changing vehicles.    Cars, planes, boats, special vehicles.    It's amazing.
