- Inferno is the best Transform Race, period.

- I'm sick and tired of Besras and Mallards. Why R* didn't use the Pyro or the Alpha Z1 instead?

- Almost no one knows to fly a Havok, apparently.

^ f*ck any race that requires hammering a button tbh, except maybe slam dunk (which just copies the Hasta La Vista pvp mode concept).

 

But yeah more vehicles ffs. Bombushka and duster and so on.

I think R* made their point how you could make a basic transform race. But they're boring as hell. While the creator, probably, gives opportunities to make many fast corners and be creative with oppressors and such, like Gauntlet 2, and make technical tracks. Think about the possibilities of the warp checkpoints!..

The only track of the last batch worth playing is Dockades of fun. The reason why premium races hasn't been a transform race for the last couple of weeks, is probably because they're bugged and the concept still sucks. The idea is good though...

I think the Creator will be fun for just some basic twists.

 

Like start with modern Grottis, half way through transform to Stinger GT's. Have it warp to a new track at the same time.

The possibilities with Creator could really breathe some life into racing....

 

Secondary CP's at the side of the track so you can pull off and transform at the start of the race, if this is possible multiclass racing could finally be an option... Slower Supers vs Faster Sports, Supers vs Bikes. Fingers crossed these opportunities arise.

Switch to first person during the beast section so you only have to hold X.

 

May also work for the bicycle sections, but I'm not to keen on the first person biking works.

I have missed checkpoints while flying through tubes and rings and I am not sure how that is possible. Anyone else have this happen?

I haven't used the creator a huge amount but afaik there's two levels of how near a checkpoint you have to be to trigger it - if you pay attention you'll notice you trigger some much earlier than others. Ones with a small radius you literally have to to touch, so you can sneak around them if you're not careful. For instance;

 

 

 

It's annoying as f*ck, all checkpoints should work the same exact way but no there's this invisible difference and it's not like on a stunt track you really need checkpoints for anything other than respawn points. Good luck cutting a tube. The last-but-one on Plummet III can only be there to punish going too.. quickly... in a.. race... and jumping too far in.. a... stunt race..

Makes me wonder if they increase and decrease the radius of the checkpoints. This is something that can be done within the mission creator but for some reason, wasn't supplied with the Stunt Race creator.

That is one of the many checkpoints I have somehow missed so thanks for confirming!

I swear in some of the R* created stunt races that have CP's in the middle of 48x28 building blocks have a huge radius, in a similar situation I would use double CP's but one of the 'enlarged' ones seems to do the trick for them.

Tried it for the first time today. For someone who flies a lot i REALLY suck at flying through tubes.

 

Well, you can stay outside most of the tubes and and still get the checkpoints. :p:r*:

The lack of variety in the vehicle selection is a massive downside to TR.

I wanna switch to buses, and tractors and titans and pantos and anything that isn't a Mallard or a Zentorno

Couldn't agree more, switching from buses to Pantos in a well built race could be great fun.

 

There would just be more 'the extra vehicles are only in there to boost card sales' bitching... :(

I meant the transformation of the medium that make them interesting (Land, water & air)

 

But I agree the vehicles are limited. Hopefully the creator would fix that.

True that, I used to make lots of tracks in the mountains/hills, that would be perfect combined with the fast stunt corners. The warp checkpoints could help with that. But yeah most cool routes are already there.

I am enjoying them as it gets me away from the grind and toxic lobbies, however, I have noticed a new type of toxic player in these races - plane pilots that try and smash you out of the air with their wings. Usually I hold my own and send them plummeting to the ground and exploding but when you are leading and are sandwiched between 2 of these idiots going for the same checkpoint you are bang in trouble!

it's not available for the players.

 

it's either a glitch or it was a exclusive thing for rockstar.

In black the vehicles used on the 7 new races that you need to buy.

I added the Turismo Classic because I think is the best sport classic that you must choice in the race "Evolution". The others are Vagner, Shotaro, Pariah and the Proto for the race "Twister II".

Other vehicles featured but without upgrades are: Hydra, Toro, Tug and Dodo.

*The Thruster is the new Havok xD

** The only vehicle I don't have is the Volatol. They are two very short section. I dont think it's worth it.

@joel15cat nice work^. Which races use the Volatol? I sold mine because I never used it. I'll do them for the tick, can't see it making much difference though.

 

I've got everything else so I'll give them all a go later.
