Transform Races - Your Thoughts?

For those who didn't know: Holding R1/RB when on the Whippet makes you go faster. Like, seriously faster. And yes, I didn't know this before. I just put the stick forward like you would on motorbikes, which made you a little faster, but not as much as pressing the additional button. If you race in a lobby with people who are not aware of this (and there are quite many), you can gain a lead of 20 seconds, even with catchup on.

Yep, learned that the hard way. With the bmx it makes these silly jumps, sometimes wonder if that also increases speed a bit. What path do you choose with split personality? The left/oppressor or the right/voltic? I really like the element of the oppressor in a race with the different styles, but that route is also totally different..Note that you can use multiple parachutes, I mean cut, drop and use another one..

Left/oppressor is the better route.

About the custom Ultralight in inferno, warped being seemingly slower than a stock. Have you tried gaining altitude? And of course getting the checkpoints in time. Red that the more altitude you have, the faster it goes. Gonna try that..

Bunny hopping on the bmx while leaning forward constantly can make you go real fast, it essentially makes the bike leap forward on top of its already capped speed.

I believe every aircraft gains speed above 1000ft. Most noticable in aircraft as the camera slightly zooms out.

Ultralight has a specific glitch where you can go faster than anything, by a long way. You have to be above the clouds to do it.

 

But yeah the stock ultralights seem to have no problem keeping up with custom.

If there were sharper turns and steeper altitude changes, customized handling might come into play more. But the way this race is set up, using a stock ultralight isn't too bad of a handicap. There is a speed difference, but not as much as you might think. You should be able to make up any lost time once you get to the bike stage, where cornering starts to be a part of the race.

And don't forget the cancerous Ultralight race at the start, where everyone flies into you, causing you spin around and swirl into the river.

Most of those races are garbage.

 

Some tracks are fun in some areas but are a pain in others.

 

Races that transform your vehicle into a Opressor should not have it's wing extended by default.

 

If you don't own a customized SR aircraft, you will be left behind in sections were you have to fly a Havok, or a Molotok, etc...

 

Payouts is good for now because of 2x, but once that is over I'm not touching it again and I assume at least half of the playerbase won't play it again either.

 

How hard is it for them to do more survival maps or vehicle deathmatches???

 

This is dumb.

Strange thing is that we can't create vehicle deathmatches! Anyone know when the creator gets updated with the new props?

I'm having fun with these races mostly because I tend to always win them. I've always been a decent to very good racer and most of my losses are in the top three but I win these more often than not which means lots of cash to pay Mors Mutual when I put my Oppressor in the drink.

"Select off-road car on off-road race": There are a one race with off-road to select, but I don't know what car is the best. Obiously is not the BF400, because there aren't a off-road terrain, is just a straight line with turbos. Maybe the Nightshark?

 

Bah. You can't use Nightshark on races, so in this race, select the BF400. I tried with Desert and Trophy Truck but bah ...

Downvoted all the new races. R*s track creators are f*cking morons, they don't even try anymore. Where is the fun of driving and flying in straight lines for several minutes? And the vehicle choices they made are beyond stupid. E.g. none of these "stunt races" features the Alpha Z-1! Not one! Think about that! And do they even know that classes like SUVs, sedans or sports classics (!!!) exist? Or Dunes? Or Firetrucks? Just update the creator you dumb clowns and let the pros create some tracks!

I've won my very first Transform Race today ^_^

 

 

 

It was intense as hell. At the start I got a small bump by another Microlight, then once we switched to cars I got spinned out inside the tube (all opponents also had supercars while I was just there in a PRB Sultan RS ) which made me fall to 8th or so place.

 

Once we transformed into the Sanchez I quickly caught up with the others into the first place despite not having a custom one. Once we switched into the beast, just my luck, I got ran over by another guy on a Sanchez and set back a bit yet still alive with low health. Still managed to catch up to 4th and then it was time for the hairdryer on wheels.

 

Two guys crashed on the first turn and it was me head to head with another guy in a purple hairdryer. I clipped a wall while trying to boost -and so did the purple hairdryer guy- which sent me into a 360 rocket spin that I somehow regained control from. Then crashed near the back and fell to 3rd while the other hairdryers were pulling away further. Managed to catch up again on the final turn when we switched to Blazer Aquas.

 

I've literally upgraded my recently-purchased Blazer Aqua prior to joining the previous race with this crowd which was lucky for me I guess. It was the three of us but we quickly lost the third guy and it was just the two of us left in the lead. We would trade the 1st place for the first half of the Blazer Aqua section, then I stayed in the lead. He constantly tried to slipstream me but thanks to the ridiculous waves he didn't get a chance to do that.

 

 

A good payout, too!

Yeah, the tube parts are more of a challenge than the straight lines with the bike or super car. I like some of the looks of it, and flying between tubes ( pipes, pipes, pipes)but on this track you drive in a straight line with the oppressor, missed chance. But they really think we are these retarded sunday drivers, that's why they put catchup and slipstream in the first place. Where are the crazy tracks where you can fly with the Howard?(it's always the f#cking Mallard). They made challenging tracks before, like crosswind, why not now? No, let's make another Trench number IX.

I do like Dockades of fun though, nice track.

Man I can think of crazy tracks where you fly with the hydra and switching modes. Time to release the creator, and wait for the verified ones.

You don't need to buy them, you wins with your magic. Wait for the races created forplayers (if you are going to play, of course). I guess, they will put rare cars to have more points to win.
