Transform Races - Your Thoughts?

Yeah, 7 out of 10 are good. You have to be joking. If infuriating wall rides, glitchy bumps, floating through the air for 15 mins to the next check points, or any of other various gimicks children seem to love are your thing, spin that wheel. I have shotguned the wheel and burned it, then buried it, started a garbage business and used a mile radius of the wheel as a garbage dump.

 

I personally thought my user created races was awesome. It called lowrider race. Where its locked to muscles, where the check points are in alleys, and there are concrete barriers you must use your hyrdaloics to boost over. No matter what, I put in the descriptions people always choose their dukes, dominators, etc.... easy win for me. The donks kindve ruined it though cause it basically and off road vehicle. I am part of the problem, lol.

Hi, when I buy the V-65 Molotok and modifier it, is it faster than stock version in the transform races?

Or is stock and own version the same and there are not different and have the same speed?

That's what I hate about the transform races. You are forced to buy all the required vehicles just so you can have a chance in these races, but, of course, most of the time, catchup is on, and you can turn customs off.

 

But still, it's ridiculous. Rockstar, once again, trying to elavate shark card sales. Pathetic.

I think it's the other way around, in Gauntlet II for example, I get into trouble at the section flying the Molotok because I don't own one, but then I almost immediacy can recover on the motorbike section with my Hakuchou Drag, on the Opressor section I usually don't get overtaken because I smartly use the boost after I lift off the ground.

 

To sum it up, if you struggle in one section, you can recover in the other one.

Annoyed by how rockstar doesn't care about the leaderbaord and allows ridiculous bs world record times to exist. I just wanna play against those who have real times. Like come people you can cheat the leaderboard times months from now and allow us to have fun beating real times. I'm tired of rockstars ignorance that they pretend cheaters couldn't possibly cheat in there games. Fix the d*mn leaderboards which have had bs times since the game first launched.

Day before yesterday two more races... I lost the first after 3/4 in the lead (catchup on ofc) due to some a-hole ramming me into oblivion with his Besra... Funny part is he didn't blow up himself... Nicely coded again, R... star...

 

Second race catchup was destroying the race again... Nice long point to point, they caught up three times... And last time they started ramming again, but rammed themselves off-track in final section of the race..; I won that one, deservedly if I might add, but still it felt as if I got Lucky, which quite francly I was...

So much potential in these tracks... But the ramming and catchup... LOL :-)

Well i already had most of the vehicles but i did have to rebuy the Vortex, Akuma and FMJ, and i had to buy the Faggio Sport and Trophy Truck i already had all the other vehicles. So it wasn`t that much money for me but it sucked i had to make room for them in my garages. I only played it without contact i couldn`t imagine doing them with contact it would be nothing but a big mess.

I've noticed this as well. I turned customs off, fearing that others may be going faster because they have a custom one. But no, despite customs off, one rank 90 dude pulled away and thus had a 20 second lead, and yes, non-contact was also on. I'm starting to think that the customs setting only affects cars, and not aircrafts.

 

Pathetic of Cockstar. Driving up those shark card sales again.

It would help a little if they delete times by people that got perma-banned, but no, those 10 seconds records will stay forever, even if the cheater got busted ...

If on pc, you could join a crew like FAST, etc. and look up their non-contact times. The top time there is usually in the top 5 globally without cheaters.

I know right, again. Takes forever to start this race, cause most people and noobs haven't bought (towards) the ruiner yet. And then you always have people leaving the lobby cause they're scared of the high levels. Premium race would be a perfect excuse to buy all the transform vehicles.

You can mod the Havok? No wonder why that rank 50 kept overtaking me in the Havok and got that win. What a greedy move by Cockstar. So I have to buy all of these aircrafts, then supe them just so I can have a chance at these races. I mean, I have the money. Yes you can mod all smugglers aircraft.

They did the same to air races. In air races before this update, all players were able to choose from the same stock vehicles. Now if you dont have the custom versions you are screwed.

For those who didn't know: Holding R1/RB when on the Whippet makes you go faster. Like, seriously faster. And yes, I didn't know this before. I just put the stick forward like you would on motorbikes, which made you a little faster, but not as much as pressing the additional button. If you race in a lobby with people who are not aware of this (and there are quite many), you can gain a lead of 20 seconds, even with catchup on.

I hope the transform races are still populated now that the double payouts are over. As long as it's not "Glitchwood Thrills" or "Home Run Away From This Clunky Race" I enjoy these races and it'd be a shame to see them just die off.

I don't have the custom havoc, but if you can fly it well it doesn't matter. I always leave people in the dust on heli sections.

 

Also don't have a Molotok but haven't had any issues there either.

Yep, learned that the hard way. With the bmx it makes these silly jumps, sometimes wonder if that also increases speed a bit. What path do you choose with split personality? The left/oppressor or the right/voltic? I really like the element of the oppressor in a race with the different styles, but that route is also totally different..Note that you can use multiple parachutes, I mean cut, drop and use another one..
