How to deal with Tank like APC vehicle?

Hey guys.

Was doing VIP work in Freeroam. Its Way

more exciting, anything can happen even at the last second.

I just got done and this mobile missile vehicle came and blew my sh*t away.

Can the Ruin-er 2000 deal with that thing???

Cuz in my duke, theres no chance for survival....

Also, this has been something I cannot figure out but in the lower left bottom map, what do all the player icons mean like the circle X?

Is the flashing red skull a player with a bounty on them?

Imo best way to deal with apc (other than using a hydra or other jet) is shoot them, they have no bullet proof windows.

Ruiner won't take it down, it can't take as many missile hits as apc can. But it may be worth buying one, as you can start a new vip work with it.

Mini map; red skull is bounty, red or nearly red is high mental state (obtained by them blowing up too much sh*t and killing other players), x means they are ceo, vip or president. No entry sign means they are is Passive.

If you're good at coordinating with game radar, then you can set up a trap with 5 stickies. One or two traps should do the trick. Time it up correctly and you're good.
Or try to shoot windows, they're not armored.

5 sticky bombs, off-the radar and 1 car for a suicide attack, might not go down in 1 attempt but a second one should do the job, that's my favorite way to take down armored vehicles, lol. Not the best one, but good for a laugh!

The Wandering Hunter

use your insurgent pickup with mines to bait it into a trap.

I like to use the Savage on them.

Have to know how to attack from the right angle though, so they can't shoot back at you.

Got it. Thanks for that info. So just a circle means they go passive?

That dude who screwed my 300k sale up went invisible on me. Would not battle me not one time.

You unlock fmj rounds thru bunker research.

It's the best method IMO as you don't have to go get any other vehicles to battle them with. It's always in the palm of your hands.

I remember the time the Rhino would shrugs such attacks off.

The Dual 20mm Flak Cannons on the AA Trailer is still the most powerful weapon system in the game. It's 2 shots for the APC or 1 for the Rhino.

OP, the circle with an X is either a VIP, CEO or MC President.

So two shots will do the same as 10 rpgs? (I think it's ten to destroy the apc?)

Nah - 8 RPGs for the APC at 100% armour, regardless of whether it's occupied or not. Half that for the Rhino.

It's impossible to definitively say "this weapon does the same explosive damage as this other weapon" due to how some vehicles have scripted (or game code) resistance. For example - the XLS Armoured (and other similarly armoured cars) will be destroyed with two explosives, regardless of the weapon system* - again that doesn't matter if the vehicle's occupied or not (as with some vehicles, explosive resistance doubles when occupied).

*Smaller explosives like the damage from the Heavy Sniper Rifle Mk.2's explosive rounds or the Valkyrie Nose Cannon may require more shots/ explosions (eg it's 4 explosive rounds from the HSR Mk.2 for the XLS Armoured).
