For the most part, I liked most of the roles and characters.

 

In keeping with the spirit of the thread though, I really liked:

-Franklin (to an extent)

 

Neutral on a few:

 

-Amanda

-Tracey

I hate Jimmy with a mother f*cking vengeance though. I let the little f*cker get screwed over by the "trolls", and I always run him over on the bike he has to pedal his fat arse around on. Hate me for it, it doesn't matter to me. Just can't stand with a self entitled piece of sh*t he is.

Like:

 

-All of the GTA IV/EFLC cameos.

-Michael

-Franklin

-Lester

 

Neutral:

 

-Madrazo. Interesting idea, but wasted potential.

 

Don't care for:

 

-Everyone else not listed above. No point writing them all out as they're too forgettable to remember.

Well, i'll only sort a major characters and from my favorite to the least favorite

 

 

*) Likes :

 

- Michael (Still my fav GTA protagonist, love his whole personality and development during the series)

- Trevor (Hilarious and batsh*t crazy, kinda unique since none of other protagonist is like him)

- Franklin (A cool guy that capable to maintain a cold headed even in the tough situation, some sort of CJ spiritual successors in HD era)

- Lester (The "brain" of the main casts, if not because of him, neither Mike nor Trevor survive)

- Steve Haines (The only good main antagonist from GTA V, to some lesser extend remind me of Tenpenny)

- Chop (The very fact that we capable to play with and as a dog is already enough to put him here i guess)

 

 

*) Neutral :

 

- Tracey (Up to Fame or Shame she's a spoiled little brat, but afterward i guess she's the most decent family member and definitely the ones who cares Mike the most)

- Wade (The funnier ones from Trevor's ally and i do feel a little sorry about him)

- Ron (Also a funny guy from TPI, i guess he help Trevor the most out of other characters)

- Dave (Kinda neutral, don't really have a lot to say with his character since most of the time he only follow order)

- Martin Mandrazo (Have a great potential but failed, somewhat threatening yet never really achieve something in the story)

- Lamar (Funny and i love his interaction with Franklin, yet sometimes his stupidity can get on my nerves such in "Lamar Down")

- Jimmy (Not as annoying as two other family members and have the best side mission and the best dialogue among the other family members)

 

 

*) Don't Care :

 

- Brad (Don't know about anything aside from the fact that Trevor say he's a Dick)

- Amanda (Really annoying in the most part of game although after Reuniting the Families she become a bit more bearable)

- Wei Cheng (Another underdeveloped antagonist almost at the same level as Stretch, only redeeming quality is he's more threatening compare to the later)

- Devin Weston (The worst GTA antagonist that i've ever seen to date)

- Stretch (The most underdeveloped antagonist in the games and probably the series with only become relevant in one mission)

Like:

- Trevor (I don't like his way of life or his temperament, but you see that he's very sensitive. And all this anger is probably due to the fact that everyone he likes, did abandonned him.).

- Tracey (Although she gets mad for nothing, she really care about her dad. Even if she's upset, she calls him, hoping he's not dead etc.).

- Packie (He is really good at what he does.).

- Wade (He just enjoy life. Nothing seems to gets to him, and it's better this way.).

Neutral:

- Franklin (He never says "no". That really annoyed me. A "gangster" without authority. However, he's a great friend and he's resourceful.).

- Ron (He doesn't seems to care for people or stuff. He does things because he's told to. And I didn't like the way he talked to Michael the first time he met him.).

- Dave Norton (He tried to help us, and he's a long date acquaintance. He seems to be legit.).

- Lester (Very resourceful and smart. He appears to me like someone that doesn't really care about people. Even if he helps us at the end, the first thing he says when Franklin calls him "Stop calling this number!". Not even worried about his friends life.).

Don't care/like:

- Michael (He's so selfish. The only thing he cares about it's his own happiness. Even when he says something kind, he sounds fake.).

- Jimmy (An ungrateful son. He has no values and he would sold his parents for something he wants but can't afford.).

- Amanda (She blames Michael for f*cking prostitutes, while she's f*cking the all neighboorhood. An ungrateful wife. +1 point for Michael for saying "I never see you complaining on the way to the f*cking bank!").

- Lamar (And again, an ungrateful guy. He so stupid. You save his life many times, but he still does the big guy. And he blames you for going on with your life, while he's still in the streets doing stupid things.).

I really like pretty much all the characters except a few. So I will just add the ones I don't like:



Stretch, but it was fun killing him!
Packie - pointless fan service with a boring back story. I think I will try to kill him on my current playtrhough in a heist, but I think that would fail the mission, sadly.
Michelle - Another insignificant fan service, this time threatening to beat Mr. K with a flashslight? Okay whatever.
Marnie - More pointlessness. Too bad you can't kill her in the final Epsilon mission
United Liberty Paper Contact - But if I remember you can kill him.
Johnny K - But I should actually list him in my "likes" of how he meets his end.

I like pretty much every character so I just list the dislike

 

1. Michelle/Karen, just to show fan she still alive

2. Johnny K, a disrespectful little asshole who insulted Trevor and called him motherf*cker, I actually liked him for how he got ended by Trevor

3. UL Paper Contact, glad we can kill him though (and I actually liked him for how he end)

4. Tanisha, ungrateful, hypocritical bitch, why we couldn't kill her R*?

Franklin (if not in a hurry, he jacks car without smashing window, so you do not worry about god damn peds calling cop. Also using special ability you can drive whole map without crashing your car once)

Packie (Every heists I choose him, he gives me feeling of three leaf clover everytime)

Lester (Using assassination mission, I made lots of money; thank you smart dude)

Lamar (My gangbanging dude, I really wish to have a side mission with him so we can kick some balla ass)

Paige (I did not know why I like her, Everytime I choose her as my hacker.)

Johnny (I liked him from TLAD, I wish he had more screen time)

Crazy old couple stalking celebrities. (My favorite freaks side mission)

 

Neutral:

 

Michael (I did not like him but I did not hate him. I only play with him if I have to. I use Franklin for driving and Trevor for gun fighting)

Trevor (Using his special ability I can resist against an army, but his character switches are mostly problematic. Like top of the mountain without pants, cops chasing with two stars;)

Tanya (Same as lamar, but her voice is too annoying. I want to took this girl and kill some balla)

Martin (He would be a good antagonist)

 

Dislike:

 

Tanisha (She judges Franklin how he left hood but she is about to marry with a doctor in order to have a better life.)

Aunt Denise (Most annoying character ever)

It's going to be interesting.

 

Like:

- Oscar Guzman - the only character that seems to be nicely written and potentially quite interesting. Too bad he's shown for like 10 seconds and then just serves as a voice on the radio.

- Packie McReary - good and cheap in comparison to others crew member with interesting backstory. Only GTA IV cameo I don't think was wasted.
