How can I get my car back after putting a tracker on it in lsc but not driving it into a garage?

So basically I stole a sultan today and drove it into LSC and modded it and put on a tracker and full coverage (both in lsc still) then drove out and called in another vehicle later so where did my sultan go? I looked in all of my garages but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Is it just gone forever?

Did you go to each personal garage you have or did you call the mechanic? If you call the mechanic you can see if the car is impounded or destroyed. If the car completely doesn't appear in one of the mechanic's lists then you can try to switch sessions or restart the game to see if that will help.

 

An insured vehicle is supposed to completely disappear from your vehicles fleet only if you sell it or if you add a new vehicle without having a free space for it in a garage (in this scenario the game asks you to give up an old vehicle to make room for the new one).

 

Tip: you can get a free tracker if you drive a stolen vehicle into your garage (works only on vehicles you can keep after you steal them).

When you bought the tracker the game asked you wich garage you wanted to put it in, if it didn’t you didn’t buy the tracker and it’s gone.

If your MOC has a personal garage space, I would check there.

It doesn't ask you which garage to store the vehicle in. If you've got at least one car space available in any of your garages, it'll use the first listed slot that's available. If you don't, only then will you be prompted to replace a vehicle that's already stored.

Sometimes the game will just vanish your car.

 

My Slate blue sentinel got destroyed. I called mors but couldn't get through, despite a number of attempts. Someone suggested destroying a cheap vehicle & that should allow me to get through, if my other car was listed I was good, if not, it was lost forever. The sentinel wasn't listed.

 

I just had to accept it & go steal and mod another one.

 

If it isn't in your garages, call mors, if it isn't listed at mors its gone. If thats the case, you can open a ticket with R* support.
