Those 2 are our most anticipated characters on Social Media with interest for R*'s next protagonist. I don't think it will be a true cameo, but more of a reference or jab at the guy, his personality or lifestyle - kind of in the same vein as R* parodied Lindsay Lohan with Poppy Mitchells. For example, I could see a Strangers and Freaks style mission taking place that involvles our future protag rescuing the guy from an angry crowd after throwing a fight or escaping papparazzi after an embarassing loss. Someone with a brain in this topic. Yeah, I don't really need to see more Conor McGregor even if I like him at least not as himself. It just wouldn't feel like a videogame, imagining it now it would feel gimmicky. I wouldn't mind McGregor doing a voice cameo of a drug dealer or hustler like Kent Paul. MojoGamer Posted October 17, 2017 Share Posted October 17, 2017 McGregor will be more like the exact opposite of the redneck inspired Trevor, so more of a Hooligan. @Mister Pink Mayweather is more of the Hustler type and I don't see why it wouldn't feel like a gta game, if McGregor is a rags to riches guy in real life. Just as long as it isn't a shoehorned in reference, I don't want to play a Gta game and then all of a sudden, oh look it's a Conor McGregor reference. I have nothing against Conor Mcgregor at all, I would feel the same for any celebrity reference or appearence. I'm curious though, why all the hate for him. He plays a part, it's all a persona, like professional wrestling. The fighting is real but the trash talk is fake. When your livilihood is fighting, putting your body on the line, you're going to do what you can to get more exposure for yourself, get the big fights faster, be able to make your money faster.
