GTA Online: Transform Races Trailer

Introducing new stunt races... with a twist. In Transform Races, vehicles change constantly - from bikes, to planes, to racing on water and more.

Plus Warps add an extra layer of chaos, teleporting you to a completely different location mid-race for added calamity.

Look for Transform Races to come to GTA Online next week on Tuesday, October 17th.

Custom vehicles will be allowed too... so those who have a customised blazer aqua will be allowed to use it, those who don't will be issued with the out of the box version of the blazer aqua.......... atleast that's what is suggested in the files anyway

I've got a bunch of transform races halfway ready to go in the creator. Just waiting for this to drop in the creator so I can finish them up with the new transform powerups

 

Really hoping we can switch to special vehicles. But I doubt it.

If truth be told, this mode turns GTA further away from its roots of dirt and grime in the hood of Los Santos where rising up the ranks is the name of the game, and stealing cars, committing petty crime and ultimately becoming a GTA God or mogul is the final goal.

But it still looks fun, and hopefully a worthwhile addition to the game. Looking forward to races with catchup turned OFF where I can use my personal vehicles.

Looks fun, but I'll probably never touch this after a few days much like other racing modes. You need to place in the top three to make money for one, which is hard with slipstream BS and douchebags.

 

Hope something else will be double money too for next week, cause this definitely will be.

It looks interesting but it seems to me the Halloween things should have come next week. I am holding out for a gifted mask. If its true that the transform will change to pvs, then I will finally have a use for most of these vehciles for a week or two while people play these races.

i assume this event week will start on the 17th and end a little later on the Thurs 26th then you have Fri 27th - Tues 1st for the Halloween super mega DLC.

Halloween kindve starts in October. You see bags of candy, costum stores open up, haunted houses start up. That kindve thing, I am pretty sure R* started the event early last year with lost and the damned, but I never really checked. I am always glad to get new content, but would have preferred double on the other halloween modes leading up to halloween.

While the Faggio would be painful on the last stretch, letting us race our yachts would be fun (though impossible).

 

Will there be a race that includes a Tug section, is the real question.

When transform races got added to the creator accidently for a day or so, I had a quick tinker and recall pretty much all the vehicles being available. Industrial stuff like the Dozer too.

Whether the official version of TR has everything in remains to be seen...
