Am I stuck in bad sport lobby or...

Is GTA really that bad now?? I mean I have been killed more times in the last 2 weeks than at any time in the last 4 years.

 

I have never seen so many APCs, Hydras, explosive sniper rounds.

 

It got me thinking would I even know I'm in bad sport.

 

Now little bit of background I'm 99% that level 700 dude who just chills in the lobby, I keep myself to myself and do headhunter every twenty minutes with the occasional sell mission.

 

But the last 2 weeks have been horrible. I have a KD of 1.79 which after all these years and me not griefing I thought was respectful but turns out is absolute dog poop.

 

I think it all started when I had 3 guys on me in their personalised Hydras, they flew up my cargo, I waited a while and then boom ghosted and mashed got all 3. That was that next I get messages saying you have earned bad sport points.

 

I thought you neeed hundreds of these to get put in the griefers paradise?

 

Any help would be appreciated but I guess a debate of sorts could be had re state of the game right now especially us level 700 vets

Im not sure if OP is being sarcastic about the current state of public lobbies or if he is actually in a bad sport lobby.

 

In my experience I would say it takes 50 bs points within your last 24 gameplay hours to get awarded the dunce cap, that is if you have never been there before.

Hey dudes sizzle found myself in my own lobby and literally went sale bananas.

 

No dunce cap which I suppose is a good sign but I honestly didn't think that was real???

 

No sarcasm honestly I just thought ask the community especially the lvl 700+ as we have been around the longest (big assumption I know)

 

I'm finding the lower levels have now got no fear in trying to square up to a guy/girl 300+ levels above them!!

 

It's nuts I used to avoid those guys like the plague 3 years ago.

Are you on Xbox One? How is your reputation? Maybe you have an "Avoid Me" reputation, which would group you with players who have that too. Those are basically like the Xbox equivalent of bad sport. You get that way from having people report you (regardless of whether there's truth to said reports, as far as I know).

 

Could also just be - you know, there's one tryhard, then his friends, friends of friends, rivals, etc. I often notice that if a session has one, it seems more likely to be infested with them.

Are you on Xbox One? How is your reputation? Maybe you have an "Avoid Me" reputation, which would group you with players who have that too. Those are basically like the Xbox equivalent of bad sport. You get that way from having people report you (regardless of whether there's truth to said reports, as far as I know).

 

Could also just be - you know, there's one tryhard, then his friends, friends of friends, rivals, etc. I often notice that if a session has one, it seems more likely to be infested with them.

Hey dude, nah PS4, as per my thread title just seems like a lot of bad eggs at the moment. I'm here for the money and the vehicles not my KD hence why I put it as above.

 

I have noticed as you have an increase in friends of friends I think this genuinely what rockstar wanted in that businesses now cannot be done lone wolf stylee.

Sounds like clean lobbies to me. This is coming from someone who got out of a 4 month bad sport sentence a month ago. Trust me, the tryhards in clean lobbies are worse than the ones in bad sport lobbies.

Trust me, the tryhards in clean lobbies are worse than the ones in bad sport lobbies.

Probably because the likelihood of them encountering players capable of giving them a run for their money (or stomping their teeth in) are far higher in Bad Sport. There's still a good chance that they'll run into scrubs and non-aggressive players are in "regular" Free Roam. Tryhards are never about the challenge; they just want easy kills. And from the sound of it, they won't get those in Bad Sport.

I've found this to be the case most of the time. If I encounter one tryhard, I encounter 10 of his tryhard friends too.
