Bunker Elimination Game

The Farmhouse gives the ho-hum, nondescript cover for the illegal and clandestine operations that lurk just beneath the surface. I like to envision the land as a front to keep up appearances and this location does that better than most. I also like that it occupies the middle ground between Los Santos and Sandy Shores; far enough from the action, but just close enough to be convenient. Some practical benefits are the proximity to the freeway, the Route 68 mod shop and the Airfield.

 

 

It's my bunker of choice too.

 

A GTA online 'tourist' got in touch over the weekend to pick my brains on all the updates since last Christmas. I showed him around my bunker, told him about the MOC, paywalls, randomwalls, and explained why all the staff and personnel are standing around doing nothing, guarding storage space with nothing inside. It was a bit embarrassing explaining that bunkers have no further use for me in GTA online. Now that I've unlocked all the research it remains shut down, just like the Hangar cargo space is also empty and unused since I completed the 42+ cargo runs to unlock the cheaper prices. And then I realised I don't use my Meth lab, Counterfeit Cash factory, Weed farm OR Document Forgery business either. It's pretty sad.

 

Don't get me wrong, I love having access to all these places and regularly relish the variety of freemode operations, but I only use about 30% of the stuff I own - an occasional Coke run, or the stocking up of a special cargo warehouse or two, or some I/E collections/deliveries.

I love my Route 68 Bunker. Just down the road to my Sandking Garage for easy sell, and for the VIP Work Fortified, the spawn point is a quick drive away too. Nicely centralized too.

I'm using Raton canyon because I just like the scenery and approach road. I'm not stealing supplies and always selling in public solo, so it's quite irrelevant what will be the starting point of my delivery, Dune FAV will f*ck it up anyway.

The first right Sandy Shores Airfield. For me is the best: near Pegasus spawn, good for sells, and the best for supply missions. Why not Farmhouse bunker? Because in that bunker, you will never got the Technical supply mission on the desert.

My secondary has a bunker at here and it's a nice area to spawn in. It's a shame we can't live in the houses over there.

The Chumash location allows one to at least pretend this area has a purpose.

Before I moved my yacht to Zancudo for the explosive sniper Lazer duck shoot (AA toggle abuse is hilarious, it's like players have forgot yacht AA defenses exist) I had it at Pacific Bluffs, when I got lucky it was moored directly behind the Chumash bunker, it gave me a very handy no fly zone.

Grape+, I do love coming out of the bunker on a supply mission and having my target helicopters flying right over my head already.

Oilfields-, IDK, this one kinda just seems redundant between route 68 and the GSD bunker, which is closer to the airfield.
