Sneakerheads of GTA Online

Does anyone have a good rundown on all of the different clothing brands that are parodied in GTA Online? I feel like I do alright identifying which real life brands are being spoofed when it comes to things like car manufacturers, restaurants, tech companies, etc. but a lot of designer clothing brands seem to escape me being that I'm not too knowledgeable on fashion labels.

 

Examples:

 

Eris = Nike

Heat = Adidas

Ranch = Levi's

Le Chien = Chanel

Sessanta Nove = Louis Vuitton

Ranch = Levi's

Bigness = Supreme

Heat = Adidas

Fruntalot = 2000's hip hop brand

Pro laps = I know they have some nike in them but Rockstar likes to mix brands so there's probably more

Hinterland = Timberland

Lezard = Lacoste

Old Gen = New Era

 

And those are all i know

I totally forgot about 7s tbh but the 16s are horrible.

 

Naw, bruh. With that sheath thing? And that patent leather? OMG. Much like the 23, that shoe was almost too nice to be a b-ball shoe. Granted, with the sheath on, they were like foot furnaces, and they yellowed like no other. BUT, after I sold off all my J's, my two pairs of 16's were the ones I kept. Eventually, I got rid of those too, but I held on to them the longest. Sheer sexiness, son.

Didn't know pictures were really needed..anyone who has played the game knows what were talking about..mainly the people who this thread is directed at..

 

But anyway, yeah sure, these are probably my favourite 3 high-tops.

What brand are those high top retro runners? They look like yeezy 500 i think and kinda like adidas crazy 8, but are more utility than running shoes, i wish they were low top and they have some nice color combo plus we got more that can be bought in casino store. R* should add more real life based sneakers in different colors and more jeans to go with them, so far the best combo is fitted jeans with high top shoes, because with low top they glitch, there are no socks so it looks dumb and those based on AF1 and superstar look like clown shoes.

I believe Crevis is supposed to be kind of a catch-all for outerwear labels like The North Face/REI/Arc'teryx with a bit of Adidas thrown in. Most of the advertisements make jokes about outerwear gear being worn as lifestyle fashion.

 

Also I'm pretty sure Flying Bravo is like a combination of Gucci & Ralph Lauren/Polo

I think they're supposed to be a mix of the kind of stuff you mentioned with a bit of Balenciaga Triple S since if u zoom in Blaguers makes them & Blageurs IS supposed to be the Vetements/Balenciaga brand.

I wish the sneakers were better in this game. If they managed to make them really cool and managed to have a large variety, it’d be neat to go to a fictional footlocker or flight club and be able to buy them from there.

I think Flying Bravo is Polo... I’m kinda familiar with the brand and all of the FB clothin match Polo pieces

Hoping with the next gen gtao we get better clothing. I like those new track suits that resemble kappa and gucci tracksuits and the fishing vest. Im a person that wears jeans all the time irl so im still pretty disappointed that we barely get any new jeans after all these years. Just one new model of new jeans. The low crotch jeans are so weird looking, we need a proper sag jeans. Like this also we need some new sneakers and the ability to wear socks. I been wearing the all white af1s since day 1 and the red and white pair that resembles jordans 1s but then you cant wear sport shoes with everything so thats kinda weird

the shoes game is wack......

 

why does the converse have that weird gap at the top? why do they have all colours except black and white ones, the most popular?

why must you have no socks with most of the trainers? why cant you wear all the shoes with all the outfits? wtf is that about....

 

just remembered I made a thread about this ages ago, was more of a wishlist

 

theres only like 2 sneakers I wear and they came with the original game before any DLCs

 

you can kind of replicate these:

also a lot of the shoes would look better if they had socks....cos most bottoms you can wear them with have that gap and the ankle is showing....I can only wear the OG jeans with the running shoes and the socks are visible, slightly clipping but I dnt mind that

Rockstar clearly mixes a lot of brands.

the ProLaps has a shoe that looks exactly like the Nike Cortez (which Eris is GTA's version of Nike)

Blagueurs which seemed to be based off the real life Vetements, now has some Balenciaga based tracksuits.

agreed.

it would be neat if there was an additional section in the shoes for just socks.

we could have different variety of socks ranging from different sock lengths, ProLaps/Eris type socks (can be based off the Nike Elite socks), or just flashy designer level socks.

Cant see the first pic but those red and white sneakers and the all white ones are the only sneakers i wear. It upsets me that it cant be worn with the new tracksuits though
