Verbal Soze
Whatever you said bro, just try and use the nero custom in stunt races, and race against those Vagners X80s and T20s and you'll see what i mean, just because the majority of players said nero is great, that doesn't mean it is great, i personally use the 811 to be able to win those race Uh, I have, a ton of times. I either place 1st or in the top 3 pretty regularly. You're just bad with the Nero Custom is all. 1st? I bet there are no x80 t20 nor a vagner in that race, and when it did appear you go straight to the third and no i've pushed it to the max all the time, but still i just end up finishing in 2nd or 3rd when those trinity comes x80 vagner t20Nero Custom is actually very good for several R* created stunt races but I personally prefer the x80 in most of them and Vagner in a couple of them. I still have my personal best lap time with Nero Custom on several of the R* created stunt races and if you go to social club and check best lap times on some of the races you'll see that Nero Custom isn't a bad car for stunt races. There's so many things you can do in stunt races that will give you more speed and faster lap times so it's almost as important to know what that is as what car you chooseAh i see, so what you mean is, there are cars that suited for one track and others are for another track? Like maybe nero is good for that h200 race, vagner is great for that vespucci race, and the X80 for the green machine, clever, well thought, perhaps i should try it that way... Kind of, some cars is better on certain tracks than others imo but it's not big difference between my x80 lap times and my Nero Custom lap times so I usually only use x80. Vespucci and races with little or no tubes/loops etc is races I usually use Vagner in, races with tubes, loops and other places you benefit from 4wd I use x80. This is only my experience so in the end it's most important to use a car you feel comfortable with Btw I always use x80 on green machine Arrows to Athens, Verbal Soze and alkaline_

You should drive some of the different cars in the same races and see if you feel some difference between them Verbal Soze and alkaline_

M*A*R*I*N*A
X80 and Vagner are very similar in terms of performance. The main differences between the two is that the X80 is AWD, Vagner is RWD, Vagner has high traction + downforce and amazing turning radius, so it's really good in tubes and such. X80 is equally good. Vagner loses speed in loops because all the wheels aren't powerful enough to carry speed all the way around as much as an X80. If you don't want to go full out for an X80 just get a regular Nero, it's pretty similar. Overall, Vagner, X80 or Nero. Elegy Retro is pretty good. It handles bumps well and has pretty good traction. It has fast acceleration so when going over stop pads it's quick to build up the speed once off the pad. Kuruma is the best for rally races, the Schafter V12 is also pretty good for long straights in sports + sedans. Verlierer is also pretty good. Gaffa
Pick the car you want and hope rockstar doesn't change the physics (AGAIN) like they have done the last 4 updates. Sadly, I think something's going to have to happen. There's some cars which are just unable to make certain jumps from the same races and conditions where they could make the jumps, since the Smuggler's Run update. The Omnis on City Air (I think) is an example - you'll probably fail to make one of the jumps nearing the end of the lap, around the 2:50 mark or so (thanks to for that one). HamwithCheese
For sports, I hate seeing nothing but skylines, so I go for the Jester. The Kuruma good for rallying? That's new, I'm always partial to the tropos.

Yes sir, credits go to him of course. I refuted the claim, so I jumped on, bought an Omnis, put all the upgrades on, tried the race on my own with catchup off (wouldn't make a difference anyway solo) and couldn't make the same jump. We're both on the PC version. It may not be anything to do with downforce however, that's just my guess. EDIT: ahh so it was "In the City", not City Air. My bad.
