Earning money at an early level?

So I'm level 6 currently and just got to $50k, mainly been hitting up stores and a couple of races. Is there any faster way to earn $$$ at this level?

Contact missions are the way to go. Or invest that $50,000 in VIP. You'll earn it back in 15 minutes with two Sightseer or Headhunter. I'd recommend doing two sightseers based on your rank.

VIP is one of the very few ways to make quite some dosh :)

You could also try to buy a heavy utility vest, BP helmet, save it as an outfit, then fill up on snacks & armor ...then join heists and enter the lobby claiming you're not a noob. If the host doesn't kick you, just follw their lead or sit in an armored car and enjoy the free ride.

I wonder if this will become the next "weekly created topic"? There's numerous threads on money making, one's even on the front page. http://gtaforums.com/topic/897743-whats-the-fastest-way-to-make-money-now/

The general consensus is that the Import / Export deliveries (once you've gotten an office) mixed in with VIP work nets you the most money for your real-life time in-game.

Ron's Contact Missions are currently double money and RP until Tuesday.

At least this is just asking for help as opposed to agenda's being forced down throats constantly.

When just starting out, contact missions are a good option. Once you get a couple million, spend it on an office and warehouse and get Import/Export rolling.

If you have a friend or crewmate maybe they could run the Fleeca heist for you. If you know 3 other players maybe they could let you join in on a Pac Standard run. Either would get you a nice starting amount of cash.

There are some helpful folks around here. If you're on PS4 I'll be happy to help you out when I'm home from work next week.

At your level you can do some Ron missions the next couple of days because they're double money atm

Become a VIP and do Sightseer and Executive Search. Neither of which requires the use of any weapons (providing you stay away from other players) and pay 20 - 25K each.

BONUS: you can do Sightseer in friend/crew only sessions (technically head hunter as well, but you need decent armor/weapons to realistically tackle that mission).

Take advantage of active bonus modes/missions as well. As noted above, the Ron missions are paying double. You can find them in multiple playlists on the R* social club.

The secret to earning money is not spending money which is exceptionally difficult in this game.

Set goals like 250K, 500K, etc. Once you hit one, never go below it. That will be your new 0 point.

This is a game that is played with LONG term goals. There are no quick solutions, only slightly faster ones as you progress.

It's what I did as a single digit level. Have "marathons" of doing contact missions, not leaving until I made at least 100 to 200k.

Tip: ditch any easy or normal missions

If you join a Ron playlist with some of us while they are double payout over the next couple days, in only a few hours you'll be at a million

Do Ron contact missions, they are paying double money & RP for the next couple of days, so not only will you earn good money, you will boost your level up fast.

Have you played through story? Some players make the mistake of ignoring it and going right to online, and it shows in how clueless they are. They are very different environments, but story makes you proficient at basic skills that will help you out online. Not to mention, anyone who skips the story of a GTA game is a Philistine

Contact missions will hone those skills. Many you can play solo, and make money and build up your level in peace. Away from freeroam and people with far more money, far more powerful weaponry, and far more experience who will spawn kill lower levels for fun.

VIP Work + I/E

While that's true, hard to do I/E at rank-6 with only $50k (unless as a helper)

When i started in July I just grinded double $/RP missions. I got stuck with the whole overtime rumble thing, which i actually didn't mind because on some of those maps, if you win, i was pulling in $200K for 2.5 hours work. I probably made $2 million from doing this.

I then bought a CEO office and made the mistake of getting a crate warehouse. Not easy sell missions solo at a low level. IE and vehicle warehouse is the way to go on the 10/10/12 method. I've made $25 million on cars alone, granted about $9 mil was during double IE week, but still it's the fastest and easiest way to get into the game.

First time you play them, sure. After the 1000th time tho, not so mush. Unless they're double $ then I dont mind the grind

Don't forget Flight School when you're a really early level (opens at Level 5 or 6...), an easy $100-200k.

Time trials for an extra $50k too.

Then you've got well over enough to start VIP work, start grinding some of that out and collect some upgraded freeroam Sandkings, maybe Dubsta2s if you can find one, or if you have a friend who has one to help you spawn one, then you can farm them.

^ Regarding the Dubsta2, I can set the op up with that, if he's on PS4. Just LMK.

Contact missions, daily objectives, races/stunt races - even things people don't do so much anymore, like parachute jumps or the Flight School.

That won't earn you money necessarily, but it'll get your rank up faster - when you get to rank 12, you can do Heists (and unlock the Armoured Kuruma, which is a must-own contact mission vehicle), and rank 20 starts getting you the interesting/profitable missions from Lester. :)

Alternatively, as soon as you're able to do VIP work, just steal a free Buzzard from LSIA or wherever, and do solo Sightseer runs - takes about five minutes, no enemies, and it'll net you around $23k every time. Possibly the easiest decent money in the game.

If you can play just a few minutes a day find 1 friend and help each other with your DOs.

When I was a low level I did lots of missions. Some of them are double money and RP now so definitely worth it. I played a lot of rickets v insurgents too. Fun and you get good RP for it.

One more tip for you; everyone gave you ideas on how to win money, here is how to AVOID LOOSING money:

Don't get in fights with other players;

Don't buy too many clothes unless you role play a fashion victim

Don't buy too many cars: an armored Kuruma is a budget solution to almost everything in jobs and CM

Take your time to take a decision: instead of buying a garage and then buy an appartment, why don't you wait a bit and go straight for the appartment?

Put your money in bank

Avoid war zones, again: death costs a bit of money, and ammos are expensive as f*ck when you start this game

Bulletproof vests are useless, get used to that from now and stop buying them unless you start doing heists.

Welcome to Los Santos anyway. Which platform are you on? If you are PC, send me a private message so we do some money together.
