They mean that on the motorway (highway, freeway, whatever you want to call it) in Idlewood, the area name that appears is coloured green instead of light blue. I believe he's saying that in Idlewood, only it's freeway (or main street) seems to show a green name (the name of the location that pops up in the bottom right of your screen) as he travels in it. He's wondering why the other streets inside of the Idlewood district don't have a green name as he travels in them, despite the fact that the whole district of Idlewood is owned by grove street. Helegad Posted October 9, 2017 Share Posted October 9, 2017 I believe it's a mostly-broken intended feature so you can see who "owns" the 'hood you're in (purple = Ballas, yellow = Vagos, green = GSF), except it doesn't work at all most of the time. OrionSR Posted October 11, 2017 Share Posted October 11, 2017 Gang colors with area names is a fix included in the SilentPatch but the feature is disabled by default. The rules for gang colors might be different on PC and PS2. PS2v1 tends to blend zone shade colors but I don't remember how it handles the zone name colors.
