Nothing against diverse and free updates, etc.., but what is it exactly, that people want from "nightlife DLC"?

I see a nighlifeupdate as a possiblity for clubs, casinos, etc. That would make it possible for a lot of different ways to make money. Drugs, human trafficking, etc.

Really don't think human trafficking is a good idea, it's still a very real gross problem in the world that many people can relate to. I have a very very dark sense of humour don't get me wrong, but that isn't something that should be on GTA.

The only way casinos could work is if they don't include gambling, because there's a very serious issue with minors using shark cards to gamble. I don't think it will happen though, they would have done it already and also there's no good casino buildings. Too much work for them to add more casino buildings on the map. Its something they should have implemented in the very beginning, Los Venturas shouldn't have been left out.

 

 

I really can't see how human trafficing would be any worse than all the other murder and mayhem Rockstar has to offer. Missions in casinos could be getting rid of card counters and other cheaters, etc.

But it's not as if people will be able to make real money out of the casino. If you use shark card money and win in the casino you'll only gain in online currency.

You gamble with ingame money, you can aquire said ingame money with real money, thats enough to fall under gambling laws in many countrys. This would require an age verification and some goverments would like to make sure that it would not be rigged.

 

A way to make the casino work would be as a minigame. For a poker game, everyone gets a set amount of chips to play with, the winner gets the big price for example 100k while the other people gain a small amount of money for example 20k or maybe even just some RP. Do the same with every other casino game and we could get a working casino.

I would rather have another full blown racing DLC than any more business related stuffs, that includes nightclubs/brothels/dealerships/comet pizza franchise/whatever the latest meme is... another racing dlc would be the perfect opportunity to add both tuners and muscles, lord knows neither will ever receive a dedicated DLC.

Maybe the only plus of a category 5 hurricane ravaging my country's power lines: I got to have my money unspent and get to wait for more future updates. I guess I'll wait for a better hangar discount for the Hunter. I'm still annoyed they haven't released themed Halloween costumes for the release of the Vigilante.

 

The new properties... maybe maritime smuggling... hopefully. Makes sense for the new weaponized vehicles. Having more weaponized planes and cars would feel redundant.

 

I missed this place.

Honestly I'd pay 10-15M for a mansion if it was sick and had all the activities in it. Pool, dards, bar, helipad, etc. Like over by the golf course would be cool.

Transform races will most likely drop next week, the week after at the latest. Unless the Newswire is wrong, which it has been plenty of times.

Maybe next week already? That would be great news!

 

I raced in on PC before they deleted tracks with it. Its cool you can race all classes with it and against eachother. You can do full on multi class racing with it. Even though it is a bit of a workaround it is at least possible.

It's unlikely, but they could be planning to release everything in that newswire post on Halloween day. Make the Halloween event seem bigger by releasing a bunch of stuff, and not just the Vigilante.

Would be nice if there was a quick way to convert stunt tracks to transform tracks though. I have a bunch of more traditional races using minor stunt props for signage and aesthetic that I would love to be able to race Ardents and Ramp Buggies and Nightsharts on..

Also they could add two or three racing-specialized vehicles along with all those fan favorite tuners/muscles. A Formula 1 as the ultimate road racing vehicle for, some kind of Pikes Peak Unlimited monster as the ultimate rally vehicle and a damn kart/Trackmania stadium racer/rocket-powered stunt car, because R* loves gimmicks and we'll never be able to get the Rocks get rid of them.

Yeah its time that we get some clubs and bars to simply hang around in. We have only one stripclub and one enterable bar. We need some social places to play pool and darts take part in drinking games or show our "danceskills". We need a freetime update that goes away from this whole bussines stuff.
