Money from LSC car sales vanishes before it can be deposited

I have wasted about 6 hours today trying to sell some standard vehicles from the Southern San Andreas Super Autos list: Oracle, Dubsta, Baller, Felon GT... most of the time I see the green +9000 and open my phone to deposit the money and it's not there. What the hell is going on? This is legit rank 19 behavior. I am tired of wasting my effort in this game.

I've spent all evening doing this and only two sales out of about 9 seem to have put any cash in my wallet. That's a lot of cooldown for nothing. Giant waste of time to stoop to this low-level method of raising money if it only works 1/5 of the time.

Doesnt it go straight into your bank account instead of your cash?

If you own the vehicle, the money gets put directly into your bank. Only vehicles that don't have insurance on will result in the money being deposited into your wallet.

No, these are uninsured cars fresh off the streets of Los Santos in a public session. Oddly enough, I feel like I did get the 15k in my wallet when I sold the one Felon GT I had equipped with upgrades, tracker and insurance.

I can now confirm that the money is going into the bank instead of my wallet MOST OF THE TIME. This is the source of the confusion. LSC used to always crap the player out in front of the garage without the vehicle they just sold, and with the warning that carrying cash can result in loss, so we all quickly got into the habit of depositing that cash via our phones RIGHT AWAY. Now it seems to show up in the bank instead, BUT NOT ALWAYS.

 

So thanks for the responses. I'm glad to learn that I'm not actually losing the money, but it raises the new question of consistency. If it's always supposed to go into the player's bank now, I can confirm that it's not happening 100% of the time. Rockstar maybe should look into that.
