Buzzard almost all the time, while cargobob made IE mission interesting again. I see a lot of hydras in full public sessions, but... Should I buy hydra ? I read that probably lazer will be on sale, maybe they will let us customize it... Also I read that rogue is very good when fully upgraded... It's useful for many of the missions, better than the provided aircraft most of the time. I'd save the money for later, honestly. If you have a Zancudo hangar you can get Lazers for free, and I wouldn't assume you can paint them (and that's not worth >$6,000,000). You didn't say why you were asking about Hydra/Lazer/Other planes. The purpose would help narrow down the best answer. Dual explosive cannons combined with its high stability in VTOL make it very accurate, you can have it as both a Pegasus and personal vehicle, it's faster at full speed than any helicopter, and VTOL of course less you land just about anywhere. I basically use it as my long range transport and mission vehicle all the time, unless a Buzzard or Savage will specifically more useful. And of course there are all the ways to annoy other people in PvP with a Hydra... The Rogue is fun and can be useful, but has a lot of downsides that make it less useful overall in my view. The Hydra's vtol is useful for many missions. Plus its way cheaper than the Lazer. I personally wouldn't consider buying a Lazer without any improvement (armor, flares, etc). I got a Savage too, but it's too weak and the cannon's range annoys me. You can switch to VTOL and hover around blasting everything in sight with your deathbeam, a weapon that no other plane besides the Lazer has (the Rogues explosive cannons are nowhere near as good as the Hydra and Lazers). I could see the Tula, one of my favorite planes, put in work by VTOL bombing, but what truly makes the Tula worth the enormous price tag is the fun factor. If you want a PvP plane, you can go with the Rogue or Starling. Theyre probably a tiny bit better than the Hydra in dogfights and can bomb too. The overall utility of the Hydra is unmatched though, just like the Buzzard when it comes to helicopters. They trivialize PvE. Locking missiles and non-locking, an chassis tough enough to cut lamp posts without crashing, easy land and take off Rockstar just released the best relation price-value on the Rogue Do.not think twice, do not even think, bring it, upgrade it, save money and smile proudly owning the skies If you have a hangar, buy a Rogue. Missions, free roam dogfighting, vip work, it does it all. Then again, the buzzard is probably better for everything but dogfighting, so a rogue would fit your squadron well, being a better fighter than the hydra.
