I had an idea for a little game to celebrate, but then I quickly realised I can't be bothered and I don't like games unless I'm winning them. I then thought I'd post some interesting facts about the number 13,000 itself such as what it reads as in binary (00110001 00110011 00101100 00110000 00110000 00110000) or what it's hexadecimal value is (0x32c8) but these proved to be a little dull. I moved on to thinking how long it would take you to count to 13,000, but that was equally rubbish when I found out it would only take about three hours. I discovered shortly afterwards that 13,000 is itself a Harshad number, which is an integer that is divisible by the sum of its digits when written in that base. Slightly more interesting, but it doesn't make for good conversation. Anyway, I did want to post this to coincide with me being on the forum for 10 years but that passed me by and I wasn't about to post drivel just so I could have another number to add. It was bad enough trying to get 13,000 to sound interesting. That's it, see you at the next one. I hope 14,000 wields more interesting facts.
