Outfit / accessories in GTAO that have some features that add "value" for being bought ?

Half an hour ago, I just find out that there are dual lens and the quad lens helmets, which have night vision/thermal vision feature.

 

I know about bulletproof helmets also.

 

But, is there any vest, pants, jacket etc, etc, that have some feature to make game "easier" sometimes, or better ...

Only the Heavy Utility Vests, but during heists. There is Ballistic Armor that can be researched and then purchased for $500,000 and requested every 20min for $5,000, however you are limited to obly a Minigun, slow movement and cannot access any vehicles. Other than that, zilch.

 

Just use BST if you want to make things easier.

Well there are only two. Black heavy Utility vest and grey heavy Utility Vest.

 

I have no idea what you mean by command or full body. They sound like pre-made outfits. Either way, both heavy utility vests provide the same effect during heists, they're just different colors.

Yup, only the gray/black heavy utility vests offer a pretty good amount of protection against heist npc's. I suppose the new quad goggle combat helmets could help too since they have thermal capabilities.

Command and full body are just different colors.They all do the same thing.

The gas mask doesn't do anything in online, unless you mean the respirator? And the diving kit is also single-player only, unless again, you mean the respirator...?

Rebreather

Night vision mask (not helmet)

Any helmet adds some protection

Tron suits (lit for "safety" lol)

Gas mask is all but usless as gas is rarely if ever used by other players and by the time the police use it with any effect you're seconds from death anyway so EWO and save yourself the cash.

 

2nd chute is only good once and costs 20K a pop.

 

Rebreather is the only worthwhile investment honestly.
