Diversity/Variety in UG

Since i love diversity and variety and i'd like the mod to have even more of that, i'd like to make sure that i'm not the only one with such opinion so i made this poll. Yes, variety may not be as important as fun but since this mod already has a bunch of weapons, why not put 5-10x as many peds and cars? Of course that'll take probably 15+ snapshots but it's not enough fun to me if there is not enough diversity in such huge project, yet on the other hand you can have 10.000 peds in a city but all of them would at some point respawn when you kill them. Nevertheless i don't like too much repetitiveness either but i can live with that in older games like GTAVC. Probably the only problem i see so far is you'll have to run it on a computer with same specs that GTAV would run in...

 

Also, in vehicle options industrial, commercial and law enforcement vehicles are excluded because each city and place will have enough of them, i mean if Liberty City can have 2 FBI cars then it should have at least 100-300x as many civilian cars

 

So what do you think? Would it even make sense? I'd be happy to see your opinions

Hehe, idea is good, but hard to realize it...

So to say, on libertycity.ru much sa styled cars (peds too). But it take a long time take take permissions from them. Or not

I would not mind seeing cars from the 90s-2000s in every city. It is desirable with various extras.

More mini games and landmass. We have enough vehicle and ped diversity. Features are also accepted. Weapons are enough. Custom storyline would be wonderful (but it’s impossible). Default storyline is necessary.

The devs probably had plans for landmasses ever since day 1, they said they will be adding landmass in the next update, they also said the next update will be worked on soon, a few weeks or 1 month i believe, also it would be hard, but not impossible for them to add a custom storyline, they just don't want to do it.

If they stop making more ped and vehicle types, that would suck because they are still adding more cities, midway, carcer, and cottonmouth seem not to have much ped types either

Content from my previous posts have been put together here because this thread is the perfect place for it.

 

Vehicles from custom cities should look like they aren't copied and pasted but still match the game's style. How about at least making custom emergency vehicles have better liveries? For diversity, new organizations and vehicles for those organizations should be made. How about adding state troopers to patrol everywhere in their respective states? Although San Andreas has the San Andreas Police Department (called San Andreas State Patrol by Rockstar Games on the GTA SA website), there is still space for the San Andreas Highway Patrol because in real life, the California State Police had not merged into the California Highway Patrol until 1995. The Florida Highway Patrol can be called such since this is not GTA V and Vice City is even said in the GTA series to be in Florida. Each city in SA can be given its own fire department and have the default fire trucks and ambulances serve in the countryside.

 

Emergency vehicles should get the sirens from their respective games. If there is no siren or the vehicles are for custom cities, these should be used:

Motorola Astro Spectra (heard in End of the Line as an ambience sound for the riot)

Federal Signal PA20A (heard in one of GTA Vice City's trailers)

 

This one is definitely too big for you: Adjustable emergency vehicles for all time periods used in this mod. For example, making police cars for all agencies based on the LSPD (90s Premier), LVPD (80s Premier), LCPD (90s Stanier), VCPD (80s Stanier LX), and both MWPD police cars (BETA 90s Premier and custom 70s car) and giving players the ability to choose the ones that get used.

 

How about porting the Degenatron games into this mod and make the arcade machines be usable?

These are only a few things that I have thought of for diversity.

 

Also, I definitely did not just make a Watch_Dogs series reference by putting a Chicago-based fire truck next to a San Francisco-based fire truck.

I am pretting much sh*tting about those recent car/weapons updates, i just want to see the new cites, the countryside, peds and maybe even some new minigames.
