Tokasmoka 398 Posted October 2, 2017 Well today has been a depressing day to say the least. Rock lost another icon today as TMZ is now reporting that Tom Petty has been taken off of life support. RIP. Petty was rushed to hospital after being found unconscious and was taken off life support shortly after. He was 66 years old.

Mister Pink 9,644 Posted October 3, 2017 Sad news. I always liked Tom Petty. I never knew much of his work apart from the hits but I know he was one of the good guys.
MisFit-138 2,600 Posted October 3, 2017 Damn, not Tom Petty. Makes up a huge portion in the soundtrack of my life. Dont think I've ever had a barbecue, family event, or camping trip eithout a healthy dose of Petty. Loved the Heartbreakers. Loved the Wilburys. Loved his music. Here's Tom Petty and Prince paying homage to fellow Wilbury and Legend George Harrison. Seriously hurts my heart. One more Tom Petty. Legend

zoso80 3,207 Posted October 22, 2017 I'm at least glad he didn't suffer. He went peacefully. Thanks for the tunes Tom. This song came to mind immediately for the brutal assessment of radio and music just as something to consume.
albanyave 483 Posted October 30, 2017 Another one gone. He put everything he had into his music. That's what he wanted to do and I'm glad he had a chance to share with the world. RIP.
