Shame.

Well...things happen i guess.

RIP.

Wonder if its gonna be a terrorist, a disturbed bullied teen or a disturbed old crazy man though.

I bet it is not gonna be nr2, unless nr 1 and 2 overlap.

Im honestly reaching the point where that these type of things are apart of American culture, i've tried to brush it off as i dont worry about these things...but the fact it keeps happening, something about this has tipped me over the scale. Im not mad nor angry I just wanna know why.

I was browsing on FB and car across a video where they interviewed a witness/bystander who said this lady (assuming its Marilou Danley) made her way to the front of the concert and told people they were going too die, and she was eventually escorted out by security (happened 25 mins before shots rang out, she said).

I dont know if the link works or not, it should work on mobile, not sure about desktop/laptop.

Now over 50 dead and 200+ wounded. Marking the terrible milestone of this now being the deadliest mass-shooting in US history.

Just read about this. Videos are horrifying.

disturbed old crazy man

Stephen Paddock, 64-year-old Nevada resident. Guest at the Mandalay Bay, room was found stocked with weapons. Confronted and killed.

Can't believe the death and injury toll is already that high, I can only imagine it getting much worse as time goes on.

Also watching the videos, it seemed like the gunfire was fully automatic, so I guess he must of illegally modified his weapon to make it so. Although I could be wrong in that regard.

Anyway, RIP to the victims and hope that old dog rots in hell.

I was listening to this on Broadcastify while at work. It was exciting listening to the police go after and get the guy but I'm sorry to hear so many died.

Innocent people are dying due to shooting, yet nothing seems to move the government to take some serious, effective action. Its like human life has become the cheapest of all things.

What can you do? If you don't sell people weapons, they will get their hands on it one way or another. And make it even harder to trace some of them down. Guns have been part of the culture so long, its hard to just remove them. People know other people have guns and don't want to be the one Not having one.

And without guns, one could always make bombs or use a lorry.

America is a huge continent, bad stuff will happen somewhere.

This is so frustrating. Why ruin hundreds of people's lives like that? It's so cowardly and selfish. It's a shame happening anywhere and any time but its makes my heart weep that it's at a music concert and people just trying to enjoy themselves with like-minded people. Should be one of the happiest moments for attendees. Everything destroyed because of one selfish scumbag.

On one hand it's absolutely horrific. On the other it's just another day in America. A country full of people who can't grasp simple logic of what happens when you let just about everyone have easy access to guns. You chose to live with this problem and to die with it. There's not much that any one of is can do about it.

Anymore its getting to feel like any festival you might want to go to is just rolling the dice on your life. If it isn't religious fundamentalists, its some crazy f*cker who thinks he has a point to make... of course you could make the argument that those two examples are the same person, but I digress.

So senseless.

This is absolutely horrible. Condolences to all those who lost their loved ones to this pathetic attack and I hope the wounded recover fully.

News is coming out that ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack; not sure if it's actually true but seems plausible. Attacks of this nature are becoming way too frequent. Wonder how the Trump gov. will react now.

its some crazy f*cker who thinks he has a point to make...

His point being elderly are more then just a danger on the road?

Seriously at first this kind of sounds like an old person who got mad because of them damn youngsters making to much noise. Now if thats the case here, better watch out for elderly when pumping up that volume <_<.

Pretty sure there is more to it though... or not. These days i just don't know. Odd people.

Reminds me of some time ago an elderly guy who was always calm in my street, blew a fuse and was trying to attack people with a tree branch knife thing on a stick. The police took him down and never saw him again. Saw him running past my window with that cutter and screaming. His head all red because of his rage and was like wtf? Weird things happen.

Clark county Sheriff just confirmed 58 (possibly 59) dead, 515 injured.

It was just low hanging fruit for a shooting, in terms of the physical situation. Large wide open area with tens of thousands of mostly intoxicated people being fired on from an elevated position with an automatic rifle. There was no where to run really. Not enough cover for the thousands and thousands of people to go.

f*ckers in ISIS are claiming it, but it looks like a lone American non-Muslim shooter. Which should go to show that we probably shouldnt take ISISs word for it when they instantly claim responsibility for every mass murder incident.

At this stage, with ISIS being soundly defeated by Iraq, their claims are an obvious attempt to maintain relevance.

The attacker doesn't fit the age group of the typical ISIS recruit. Those they employ are usually young, with histories of petty crime and second/third generation immigrants with various grievances against Western society. An elderly middle-class man with no criminal record whatsoever simply doesn't fit in with what we know about those who are radicalized by ISIS.

If Trump choked on a f*cking doughnut, they'd be on Twitter claiming it was one of their agents.

FBI has now confirmed this is rubbish and the perpetrator has no known links to any violent extremist organisation; nor has the perpetrator converted to Islam as IS claimed.

In what respect? I struggle to see how it could look much less like the Alexandria shooting at this point.

What a cocksucker.

And naturally this means f*ck all to any gun lobbyist in the US.

This is soley a psychological and mental stability issue and not a "gun control" issue. If anyone has a motive to kill people, even if you take away every single firearm there are a hundred other ways to inflict massive casualties.

The fact that this tragedy will be used to push the political gun control narrative and banning firearms is absolutey pathetic.
