I am going to say next year before RDR 2 release.. GTA 20th anniversary would be the perfect time for the announcement. They are already working on the Hud UI in the game per Rockstar job posting so I am saying reveal is getting closer

this year is still 2017 . May 2018 is next year. Also, a 4chan leaker(take with a grain of salt) stated that we will play as a redneck(not as crazy as Trevor though)

GTA being the famest franchise of Rockstar Games, and Rockstar Games having 20 years next year, I think it will be a great present to show fans a trailer of GTA 6.

For me, GTA 6 will be release mid-2019 maximum. Because Red Dead Redemption 2 (even RDR Online) will not generate as much incomes as GTA 5 did. So, either they release other games like Bully 2 or Agent, either they release GTA 6.

Idk when they gonna show a trailer, but I'd say it would be announced in 2020, GTAVI has AT LEAST 2 more games in front of it: RDR2 (2018) and Bully2 (I hope 2019). And I'm not even counting the new release of l.a. noire, i'm just focusing on "major titles".

September 2019, cause it is rumored that PS5 will be released in Fall 2019. So they'll try to release GTA 6 before Fall 2019 and release a remastered version before RDR2 in 2020.
